Today I'm checking out ‪@MythicJaqui‬'s latest Halo MCC mod... the Halo 3 Mythic Overhaul, which basically turns Halo 3 into Halo Infinite, adding Infinite weapons, vehicles from all the games and replaces Chief and Arbiter with their Halo Infinite and Halo 2 Anniversary versions! It genuinely looks like a Halo 3 Remaster / Remake! Be sure to check the Mod out for yourself, and let me know what other mods you want me to check out in the comments below!

the fact that these weapon fit in so well in classic halo means they deserve their place in the halo sandbox unlike some other weapons in 343 halo

Man I love these mods so much. Halo 3 literally save my life. On 2 occasions I was supposed to go woth friends or so called hood friends to hang out and people got drugged, shot, or hit by cars, on both occasions. Meanwhile, I was at home playing Halo Legendary just to see the secret ending again and see how many marines I could keep alive

I don't like it's using the Infinite Armor in H3. Don't get me wrong, I think the Infinite Chief armor is the best armor iteration of all time but seeing it used in the H3 campaign is weird.

Honestly, it’s not surprising the Infinite weapons and models work so well in Halo 3. Infinite is a true Halo title and fits in the universe perfectly. I consider it to be the true successor to H3, personally

Sadly.... Microsoft will probably not allow these types of mods onto MCC for the Xbox as it goes against some sort of TOS or something with the console. I'm not 100% sure but it's why Fallout 4 and Skyrim can feel so bare with mods

halo 3 really was the goat. Great lighting, amazing physics and explosion effects. Vehicle damage models are so complex and make it feel like real life. Just a fantastic game. Infinite feels way worse and doesn't even look that much better.

I only see an official Halo 3 Remaster in 2027, but even then, for some reason, I don't see it happening (And it probably won't be as good as Halo 2 Remastered).

On PC yes! You just subscribe to the mod, Launch MCC with the easy anti cheat disabled and you can play!

The lighting or materials need MAJOR adjustment. I'm gonna be honest, visually, it looks awful when you see it in all those different lighting conditions that were clearly not smoothed out. Chief constnatly looked "bleached" out in different lighting conditions, it looks god awful. Just a bit of criticism to whoever made this.
