Dan, from The Boss Hammer Company USA, sent us the craziest hammer I’ve ever seen in my life in the mail last week. Thanks! This is a new multi functional sort of “Swiss army,” style hammer that i’ve never seen the likes of before! I was sort of jaw dropped at the idea… Does it actually work though? We put it to the test.
This innovative hammer has most of the functions of a speed square, tape measure, features nominal dimensions that are common in framing... making it the only hammer like this on the market. If you are building using the metric system... sorry this thing only comes in imperial for now.

Exactly what I was thinking, being wood I highly doubt it will stay accurate after a month of daily use. Don’t throw your square away boys

So, I bought the Boss 18 oz. And love it. Been using it for a couple weeks framing roof. Awesomeness. Got it because of Jamie saying he liked it. Secondly, American family owned, great people. I love supporting small American owned businesses. Especially with great products!

Welcome back Jaime looking good. Great video as usual. Surprised it took them so long to come out with something like this. Looks good tho. Keep it up as a first time homeowner these videos are saving me a bunch to make my house nicer for me and my better half. Wish I could afford to support you more it'd be worth it to me. They have a couple good videos on their website for the hammer also.

I run a 16oz. Stiletto titanium with a hatchet handle now and love it! Thanks guys! I was laughing hard at the hammers handle as a tape or a square.

What happens when the claws wear? Would that throw the angles off?

@@kierandoherty1600 If the claws wear significantly enough to ruin the squaring function, the hammer is being used as a demolition hammer or being abused in another way. We recommend this hammer be used for driving and pulling nails, and for squaring/making marks only! Our hammers can take a beating, but generally premium hammers are not used/designed for demo. We plan to have a fun torture test video come out soon!

Man I'm really pumped to see Jaimie back at it! I know everything about that can't be easy. I've had a few scares with saws and that was my biggest fear. But he seems to be doing pretty good, and having the support from his family, friends Co workers, and everyone on here can only help. And this hammer looks badass for only 70 bucks. I'll have to pick one up and try it out. Keep the videos coming, I love them!

The thing that makes me want to buy one... Made in USA! I'm English and always try to buy British or American, which sadly is really difficult nowadays with everything being made in China. Good to see Jaime back on carpentry video. One thought on the hammer is if the claw needs to be touched up or is used heavily, there goes the angle accuracy. Otherwise an interesting new design.

The glasses are not prescription, but I wear them pretty much all the time after getting some crap in my eye and having to go to the eye doctor last month! Next time I’m out in my truck I’ll look at the brand name

Funny video.. that thing looks cool. I want one. I've marked 16" on handles before for quick layout. I keep about six different hammers on my truck. This may be number 7 since I noticed on the handle that its made in America.
