I bought the Hammerhead and it was like a brick so I sent it back. I thought "they should make this in titanium!" So thanks Zelos!

Zelos should do a simple black version of all models. I pass on most Zelos's since I know I won't wear most of their dials. With that said really happy with my black dial blacktip gmt.

Titanium alloys form an even and thin layer of oxidized metal on the surface. This protects it from further corrosion. Unfortunately, this oxide is relatively soft so you end up getting scratches easily.

Hi, thanks for the support Chris! I don't really have a lot of deep down experience to that level with titanium. I had an SWC that had a great finish and it was impossible to tell the material but I guess time will tell ;)

They have treated it so that it has 1200 vickers hardness and is much less prone to scratching

Looks like a beast George! Do you think the quick release spring bars are a downfall on the bracelet? I love the ease of taking the bracelets off my Zelos! Great review as always keep up the good work 👌

Hi Steve, thanks again for the comment and support. No really in this case as it just works with this watch and I wouldn't take it off. But on other watches that don't feel as compatible, depending on the price I would somewhat expect it. Thanks again for the comment.

George good timing, I don't have a titanium or Zelos watch, both on the wish list. Do you have any 44 mm watches in your collection for wearability comparison? I use my Casio Duro as a benchmark for width and lug to lug. Obviously weight is a different discussion. 😀👍

I can say that doesn't wear like a 44.. the short lug to lug really does help the overall wearability and it reduces the footprint on the wrist. Thanks

I've never purchased a Zelos because I don't like their business model. Make a very limited number of watches and then make your customers jump through hoops to get one. They want you to think you're getting something special, you're not!

They are a small business and can not afford to carry inventory. They make what their resources allow. Do some research about how micros stayed out of insolvency.

Hey there. Thanks for the comment. Sometimes these are the limitations of microbrands. If you take a look at Helm, Traska and Brew they're even worse. So if you compare, Zelos is much better because you can still find their watches and they're not all beyond expensive. Thanks again

@K C No, I don't buy it! I've seen the owner quoted as saying that he wants his customers to feel special by getting something limited, something that everyone doesn't have. The demand is obviously there. He could sell many many more watches if he wanted to. He's decided to play the Rolex game. Keep production low, keep demand high! Have people waiting breathlessly for your next release. He's selling AliExpress level watches! They're no better than San Martin or Cronos and their watches are always available. If you want to be a sucker and fall for his game feel free.

@@sinjinadams2862 At the end of the day everyone is free to choose to do what they want to do. As a salesman, wouldn't you like your buyers to crave your products? I'm not a big fan of this marketing exercise either if it's done to the extreme, but I don't think Zelos does that here. I want to feel special when I buy something.. don't you, doesn't anyone? You have to understand how the market works, none of us are professionals but these guys have to produce in a separate factory and have to commit to sell, not like Seiko or Citizen or other big brands. They can't afford to make 30k copies of the same watch and hold stock. Helm does whatever you're discribing there. Also, second hand watches from Zelos don't sell for double the prices. But like I said , you're free to believe whatever you want. Plenty of fish in the sea. Thanks again for watching!
