Excellent effort and presentation of the basic figures. Just a comment on the cause of 'torquing' during the pivot - I often see it presented that the left roll is caused by the right wing's greater airspeed during the pivot (to the left), which increases lift on that wing, causing a roll to the left. This force would be present to a degree if pivoting from a positive attitude, but a competition hammerhead should be done from the zero lift attitude on the upline. The wings should be at zero AOA before, during, and after the pivot. At zero AOA, there is no potential for yaw to create a lift imbalance between the two wings, causing a roll reaction. Assuming the pivot is done from the zero lift axis, the left rolling force (and need for right aileron) is purely a function of propeller torque. If lift-induced roll was a factor during hammerheads, gliders would be extremely susceptible, given their long wings. However, aileron is not required during glider hammerheads, since the wings are at zero G, and there is no torque from a propeller. I consider this is a minor point on the dynamics of the maneuver, but worth mentioning. Thanks again for producing these videos.
