I can under why Peyton Flanders (Mrs. Mott did what she did, She had a doctor who was her husband and he had a successful career and she had a baby on the way and she didn't need to work and she didn't have a family of her own b/c her mother died when she was a child and her husband was all she knew and when Claire Bartell wanted to press charges on her husband that set her off and then he kills himself Peyton loses the baby and her home and she had nothing. So she blamed Claire for all of her troubles she said that quote"What goes around comes around!" In the end she died b/c just wanted revenge more than anything else. Any woman who suffers that amount of pain all in one week that would make anyone crack up.
