We've all been through this or will go through this with horses! 2 years ago in February my sisters exmoor died in the middle of the day, we had ridden that morning, and when my sister went to see her in the afternoon she was lying flat on the ground! We have no idea why she died, but the vet had come the day before and said she was in tip top condition! 6 months later we put down our 26 year old mare who had just struggled through the winter! So to have two horses die in one year, was heart breaking! But they were both buried in the same field they died in! So the exmoor died in that field, and the 26 year old mare was put down in the same field, and they were buried right next to each other!
