Real Wild

6 жыл бұрын

Set in the vast expanse of South Africa's Mala Mala Game Reserve, a host of Africa's biggest and fiercest wildlife species compete for food, mates and territory against the backdrop of a harsh dry season. This compelling film tracks the interconnecting lives of a wild community, locked in a never-ending battle to stay alive. At the heart of it all is a pride of lions. Challenged from all sides by other big characters in the area, relationships constantly take unexpected turns.

I was SO looking forward to this! I couldn't even make it 90 seconds :-(. Shut it off as soon as I realized it was another one of the docs that the music is crazy loud, so loud that I can hear someone talking but not a word he's saying. It's beautiful work and I'd be all on board if it wasn't ruined by the 'dramatic score'. It's tragic really because the drama of the animals challenges is enough, they don't need the effects :-(. I hope someone reads the comments I've seen many people say the same thing. Thank you for all the hard work. I hope you guys do some without the music.

I love these shows, but dear God man, why must the *background music* be three times louder than the narrator?!? I totally get that it's an older television documentary uploaded to the web, but the same software used to prep it for sharing has value adjustments too. If that doesn't work crack open the source code and fix that headache making nastiness!

There is inconsistency in the seasons and the conditions of the plants/grasses. Grasses are green in the dry season (when the lioness searches for her cubs after the kill) while the kill happened on scorched dry grass (dry season). Again the episode showing the wounded sister of the lead female is supposedly in summer (wet season) yet the grass is very dry.

I hear you but imagine watching four people rip your baby apart & eat him!! That lion fuckn destroyed the baby calf when he attacked it OMFG!!!! It's so brutal out there. But did you see the way the big bad male lion jumped behind the females when momma bull came after them!!?? They are the worst. Females hunt & then the males take it & injure the females sometimes when they try to eat also. Ugh male Lions & Hyena's annoy me!!

@@thetruth72667 They aren't the worst, they have to follow the law of nature without exception, even though there actually are rare exceptions. @@thetruth72667 Hyenas are incredible and cunning animals that play a big part in the ecosystem. Male lions are the BEST. They are meant to pass on their genes and defend their pride and territory and taking the spoils is the trade off for the pride so that they have strong defenders and can then raise their cubs. My heart always goes out to male lions because they live extremely tough, short, and violent lives and their end is usually very tragic.
