You nailed the sentiment. I've had my own challenges trying to get started in property. As you said, it's frustrating how long things take and can get really tied up the the red tape here... The land registry thing sounded like it could have been a win! (Allodial title? All registered land technically belongs to crown?) Either way, glad you're on the move; you absolutely have to have a 'no matter what' approach to these things. In property, there's so many moving parts and potential snagging points that slow you down and if you don't build that resilience and chase that goal single-mindedly, it will be all stress and no reward :/ Great video; looking forward to seeing the steps and the growth. Having the trusted builder is massive (do you guys JV?) There are a few HMO courses I've been looking at myself. Can I ask who/which one you went for in the end?

Let me tell you one thing. I myself i am eastern europen, from Romania and when i built my house in Forest Gate this fact alone help me so much as my romanian builders were much cheaper and much better. Get in touch bruvs, now im currently doing dental clinilcs in Bucharest as my wife is a dentist and we are making bank. 🎉

Yes, you cannot do BTL in London you will not make money Newcastle, Manchester and Edinburgh have best rental yields and are big enough markets you will have high occupancy

As i'm renting each room as a seperate unit, the property is able to cashflow a lot better than a standard home. 1 or 2 rooms in the property will be the profit with the rest covering the expenses e.g bills, Mortgage etc

Hey bro, ive also done a HMO with my Forest Gate house. It took me 3 years to personally built that masterpiece and now i cant wait for open door to come to the UK to sell it for a decent amount. House is mortgage free and making 60k a year now but wanna sell it and get the cash out. It cost me 350k to build it and now they are selling for 900k

@@KelvinSillah i am my man but when i built that house i was living in London. Nowadays i live in Bucharest where i met my wife and we are making more with dental stuff rather than properties alone. Next year im also going to launch my first craft brewery. So we are into different stuff kind of. But if my romanian connections can help you with your stuff i can feel free to pass them on

@@KelvinSillah the Road where i built this house is called Sprowston Mews. E7 9 Ae. Private mews at that time and i bought my plot for 90k. Imagine that nowadays. That happened in 2016 and its close to Stratford mate. Anyway, i was the very first tu buy on that mews now it s only houses and plots sell if any, for 300k plus

When you have a house you rent it room by room to individuals You can also have lots of problems if those people don't get on, for example playing loud music in the next room to you when you need quietness or some peace etc THE LANDLORD MUST PAY ALL THE BILLS
