@@Ahnestly Brilliant thus far! Comfortable with so many options for seating positions which I think is key given the amount of time I spend in a chair! I could only get the base model here in Australia so I got creative with a neck pillow and inserted it into the chair for additional lumbar support in an upside down U shape position! Works extremely well. I heard some complain about the provided lumbar being too hard, so a soft neck pillow has done the trick! Looking forward to the head rest to finish off the chair! Thanks again!

@@Ahnestly I got the orange color with the digital nit yes... it's for my Gaming PC... I am of the mindset that a head rest SHOULD touch your head without having to lean back into it.. this is why I loved the Volvos of the 1980's and early 90's back in a time when few brands (Mercedes and maybe BMW) offered a proper headrest and other cars had a useless lump.. I've got fern and it's silent when you upgrade the noisy wobbling hand rests. Take them out from the chair base sleeves (you need to push from the bottom) and then insert a small plastic (1,5-2mm thick) in between the sleeves and the arm rest inserts to fill the gap. You can also use a duck tape to tighten the inserts because they are from 2 parts so you could take the arm rests out but since they are not tight the whole arm rests are wobbly and noisy. When you duck tape the two parts together the arms rests are then sturdy and make no noise. If you have lumbar and it starts to make squeaking noises you need to take the fabric down then the front mesh then the lumbar pillow and then you put some vaseline on the metal moving parts of the lumbar. Then you put everything back together and it's like new.

Review from someone who is 6'2: At 1:45 he mentions that he hates a headrest touching the back of his head/neck when sitting upright. I am the same way. The Atlas Headrest's design makes this impossible for someone of my height. Since the support structure that the headrest attaches to is curved, the higher up you move up the headrest, the further forward it's pushed. You might think that since the headrest can be adjusted forward/back that this shouldn't be an issue, but there is absolutely no configuration where-in the headrest does not make contact with my shoulders, neck, or head when sitting upright. As such, it's a must-return for me, which is disappointing, because the headrest feels great when leaning back. TLDR: If you're over 6 feet and you don't like the headrest making contact with you while sitting upright, you aren't going to like this headrest.

It was be nice if you made a video about the best ergonomic chair for four different body heights, including super tall people (im 198cm). I’m 5’3 and I’m trying to decide between the Fern and the Embody. My brother who is 6’2 is absolutely convinced that the Embody is the only way to go, but I don’t know. I like the look of the Fern’s lower back support, and every time you discuss the Embody you mention that weird lower back lumbar feel (the shoe shaper thing) and it immediately makes me lean away from the Embody. I’m wondering if this headrest on a Fern would really do much for me since I’m so short. Thoughts?

Hi! The headrest would most definitely not fit you (both the embody and the fern headrests). I might need to build a metal brace to insert and hold it in full recline, since the thought of the chair folding up on me when asleep is very annoying. The Atlas cushion headrest, like you said, is SUPER comfortable! A few things about the headrest: - I wish the color was a slightly darker gray to match the arm pads of the Fern, but it's pretty darn close. - Then, the 3D print quality of the adapter needs a little improvement, mine has some very noticeable blemishes but since the headrest will be behind me, I'm willing to overlook it. - I was a little confused initially when there was a 2nd adapter in the box, but I quickly realized this was for the Aeron chair and not the fern.
