2 mos on a '09 Night Train, and I hardly drive my cars anymore. Mine has the 96 CI, that's been dynoed at 90 lbs torque. Vance and Hines short shots, Arlen Ness stage 1 air cleaner, 23" front fat spoke wheel. I recently installed progressive 422 rear shocks, the front ones were already done, and added a Roland Sands Avenger Solo seat. It's a BEAST, with 6 speed transmission.

My 06 Night Train has 135,000 miles. Runs like a scalded dog! I just ordered a LA Pera real leather Bare Bones seat. I converted mine from belt drive to chain...after breaking 4 belts. I upgrade everything but the piatons and jugs I bought the last carberated Night Train @ the dealership. It's pushing 100 horse and torque +/- I wouldn't sell mine for %50,000...Hell, I wouldn't sell it for $100,000. Ridden it to 42 states. Too many memories man!

Night Train was introduced on swing arm frames in 1970. Harley made them for three years. They were reintroduced in 1998 on Softail frames. I have an 84 Softail and a 99 Night Train. Conrats on your score. $4000 is an excellent price for that bike. I paid $5000 for my bone stock Nigth Train 7 years ago.

I know exactly what you mean when you say that sometimes you just have a connection to something. My first HD was a 2005 Night Train. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. I was forced to sell when I went back to school. Later on I purchased a 2006 Night Train. My baby was born and the bike was sold. I graduated school and just purchased a 2009 Night Train! I’m hooked. What can I say.

I was looking to buy a Honda V65 but my buddy whos a Harley guy said "your not buying a f**king Honda!" So he found me a Titan Sidewinder with an S&S 113 engine thats been cammed. Then I found the Night Train and I am so happy I chose to buy it.Ive had it 3 weeks and Ive put nearly 3000 miles on it already. My 2014 Charger R/T doesnt get driven as much now. That car is my baby, but it has now been put into 2nd plcae.

He’s trying to find another for a reasonable price but they are commanding a premium (at least where I live, 6-9k for a decent one). I love my 2015 Deluxe but my 97 road king really speaks to me. She has character, reliable as all get out, and of course that carb’d Evo. All goes well, should be adding a 96 FXDWG to my garage this weekend. Cool video man, and awesome bike, best of luck.
