Their only job is to ensure that the FBI is diverse. Now departments should recruit diverse agents because of their unique experiences, perspectives & qualifications needed in an agency that handles so many diverse criminal cases, but the sole qualification shouldn't be a diversity quota, the agent should be the best candidate & the fact they have a diverse array of personal experiences should be an additional skill set that helps their case. Head of Diversity is a waste of an entire office taking up taxpayer money & excludes skilled agents on the basis of not being foreign enough, despite being vastly more qualified than the agent picked instead of them.
