This band has something special. This song as well as others have a nostalgic feel to them. Reminiscent of late 60's early 70's. Mama's and Papa's style.

Nice groove, has a fleetwood mac influence. I like the feel of their music, classic, updated with modern production techniques. Very cool.

Lovin it!! Im musician bass player at that SO....its gotta GROOVE!!?!! Love the rythm riff never backs off drives like a train ya cant NOT get it, hits the pocket n goes man lovin it. I saw these guys in Knoxville, Tennessee last night. They opened in support of St. Paul & The Broken Bones. SIMPLY WOW! More on the St. Paul show later, but for the purposes of this comment, PLEASE SEE ‘THE HEAVY HEAVY’ Live if you can. Stellar musicianship; sweet arrangements; and vocal harmonies that are out of this world.

Jealous! St. Paul & The Broken Bones are high up on my need to see live list. After today The Heavy Heavy jumped up very high on that list too. I was shocked to find out that they don’t have a massive following and disappointed (/excited) that I can count all of their songs on my hands! Thankfully I’ll be seeing them in Portland in September with the number one band on my must see again list, The Revivalists (how I found The Heavy Heavy). I am inviting more of my friends and will tell them that I’ll pay for their tickets if they can look me in the eye and say that they didn’t think it was a top notch show! They’ll thank me later…

Most of this video was taped in and around the Dungeness lighthouse and nuclear power station in Kent, UK. At one point a level crossing for the 15" gauge Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Light Railway that ends at Dungeness can be seen in a flash.

Love this band! When I first heard this song on our local radio station I thought, who is this awesome band? That song is killer! The next time they played it the dj said who it was.
