You just think this thing is scale, it so so scale I had to stop filming and just look it over! I am impressed, for a box stock rig nothing can compare, period. In this video I just drool over the scale goodness, look for a video soon where we take this heavy rig out for a spin.

The radio is a generic one that they use for their tanks. If you read the instructions you will notice the channels are not the standard setup. Most of the buttons are not used but the receiver is a matching 16 channel so there are lots of open ports to use for extra stuff.

I was looking for the crane and trailer for my P802 on the internet and from what I can tell this is the same company that makes WPL. HG seems to be the premium brand. I preordered the P602 as well. As you said all of the others are 1/12 scale so it would have been nice if this matched. Maybe they will make a 1/12 in the future, but after the trailer for the P802 😄

Looks nice. With your welding/brazing skills, you should make a metal front grill since that one is flimsy. Oh and black wash it to give it some more Scale detail. Can’t wait to see what you do next. 👍🏼👍🏼

Have a couple of German world war 2 tanks like the tiger with full metal tracks, turrets and cannon that fires airsoft pellets. It's 1/16 scale and has sound board for the engine, cannon and machine gun. For added scale, it's got a smoke pump to mimic diesel engine exhaust. It's just too bad Heng Long and Taigen the manufacturer didn't think it producing them in 1/10 scale just like that Humvee.

I drove this same vehicle in Norway. 400.00 bucks is quite steep. But it is real nice though. Looks just like the real thing.

yeah, that thing is pretty fine detail straight out of the box. I can see folks doing some neat mods and weathering with these things. The finer detailed hard body RC's have really upped the hobby for sure. Is it close to the 1/10th Traxxas Slash in size? Trophy trucks are similar to Hummer in size ain't they?

the moutable "machine gun" isnt a machine gun its a belt-fed 40mm grenade launcher (MK19). lol i had one once upon a time.. lol great video. i just bought one of these for myself wicked excited! great video! =)

I have the tamiya hummer. its nice to have. it is too fast for scale and with the old style radios, broke lots of suspension pieces!

Just add a planetary gear reduction box and it will slow it down for scale aesthetic

This is epic and so scale maybe a bit loud, you can lock out the diff's remove bung in diff case add pin and they are locked.

The sound module has two buttons to change the volume with a short press. A long press on each button, one changes the engine sound and the other changes the horn sound.

Tamiya's rig was actually on a TA01... NOT a TA02... There's quite a difference between them... I've been keen for one of these HG rigs because I own an original Tamiya one and it's my go to trail rig...

I know this is listed as 1/10 but I heard it is more in between 1/10 and 1/12. Does it look oversized when next to the HG P801 or HG P802? I really want this to fit perfectly with my other 1/12 machines before I pick one up.

In my opinion it fits well with the 801. I know the old tamiya h1 hummer was branded as 1/12 and this is significantly larger than that body.

Have you seen the King Kong CA10 or CA30 kits? Very detailed time consuming kits. They are 1/12 scale.

Mine came with it pre-installed, all I know is the control module mounts under the hood and that the body will likely have to be removed to run the wiring

From all of these I’ve seen they were all built like a tank. Lol. This was rtr with lights and sounds. So I’m guessing the upgraded version. Prices on everything have gone up unfortunately.

Nice video What capacity lipo battery will be compatible with stock brushed motor?? 7.4v / 11.2v or any other ? How much mAh is sufficient for a nice half hour play ? (2200 - 5500mah) Asking as this is my first lipo buy and options for lipo batteries are limited here.😅😅

I am no expert on lipo battery’s. Just recently switched over to them myself. I used a 11.1 2200mah on this rig and got around 30minutes. I am not current on chargers and balancing so I really can’t recommend one.

Glad you got green so sick of that qwasi desert but darker almost coyote color brown. Don’t like the overdoing it all. The wood land camo works here on the USA soil majority and then use that brown coyote. Green wood land camo all the way
