Thank you so much! We're working to develop more clear distinctions between the East Asian styles in our builds, since they are different even if similar in many other ways 😄

@@FikiAndBiki Its really cool you're making the effort to differentiate in that way. A lot of the builds I see are mostly just "Asian Palace" or such, so seeing you two put in the effort into more regional differences is very cool! also your builds are excellent as always. :D

Thank you! Glad this one is getting some love! 😁 We're planning on doing a tutorial on a smaller Korean build in the future. As for where we get our ideas, we use lots of photos, maps, videos, artwork, etc. of real locations/buildings as references. A solid portion of time for doing these projects is the researching phase, so it also helps to collect the references over time!

We get most of our inspiration from historic architecture and artwork! This project was specifically inspired by all the variety of buildings within the Gyeongbokgung/Gyeongbok Palace in South Korea. Can easily see where the building designs and layout came from if ya look at the pictures on its Wikipedia page! 😁
