I love these old cafes. I'm in Northwest Indiana, they almost all gone now. My Moms people are in South East Kentucky still have a few old school places left. I love when I can travel finding a cafe or a old truck stop thats got a good ole bologna sammich or a good handmade hamburger. They have character, make you wanna stop on the ride home. Thanks for being there.

I really enjoyed watching that video. What a great old place to save; I can imagine back in the day it being The Place to be! I had a thought when watching it also, about how sad it must have been to live in a town where so many good ole places close up. Most places to in the opposite direction over time and get built up and crowded. 🙏

He was right. a lot of old buildings are gone before they take a look at what it really was. They say progress, but if it's actually removed, you have nothing but memory. There is nothing to actually enjoy seeing but an empty lot. Are you have a dollar store.

John, you never cease to amaze me! What a wonderful tour of another fabulous historic place. Wow! You can really feel Miss Pam's heartfelt elation, gratification and joy as she happily shows you the preservation/renovation of various areas of the restaurant, along with their history. You can tell she truly is in it for the long haul and is there for and to become an important part of the community. An added bonus were the comments from members of the community that previously lived the Tanner experience. Thank you for allowing me to visit this wonderful place with you!
