The southern Victorian village and Arena District Areas are beautiful, but it’s a damn shame they haven’t brought back more of the people who once lived there. I would hope if the Arena District ever reaches its true potential to host major large-scale high-rise housing, that some of it would be made affordable enough to be offered to these old folks who helped get that area started building and operating the Spruce Street Yard. Not to mention the 4th Street, High Street, and Park-Front viaducts that are still some of the most essential infrastructure anywhere in the urban core of Columbus. We owe those flytown workers a lot.
