@@catshal1067 They're not talking specifically about Attract, they also mean that Snivy didn't tolerate any of Emolga's behavior (including the electrocution shown in the video that everyone got struck with except for Snivy)

I kinda like the growth Emolga had. It's nothing groundbreaking but it's nice seeing her become more of a reliable Pokemon rather than a self indugent manipulator. It especially works in "Team Rocket's Shocking Recruit" when Emolga's "classic behaviour" has actual reasonings to them.

Emolga is the one little sibling that can get away with things and snivy is the older sibling that is out to prove that Emolga is doing bad things. Reminds me of Meowth before he learned to walk and talk and all that good stuff

That’s only because she barely ever battled. Most battles she was sent out to, especially battles against Pokémon she felt were stronger than her, she would swap herself out with Volt Switch.

While Iris irritated me as a companion many times during her tenure, her connections to her Pokémon have always been great and I love the growth she and Emolga had together.

Emolga certainly evolved from a mischievous diva to a supportive diva that eventually became close with Iris. Plus I believe Iris has some new Pokemon from journeys which could be subject for more future videos.

Except for the one in the victini movie but that was a disqualification after she used volt switch and switched with another Pokémon when it was a one on one battle. No substitutions.

I really like how much ash’s later companions pokemon get developed and have more personality compared to (most) of the early ones, but I wish they’d find more ways to give them use in battles and what not. At least may and dawn had contests, and I think the clubsplosion tournaments were a step in the right direction to at least give great Pokémon like emolga some wins, I hope to see more battles for ash’s companions in the future

True fact: the only scene where she fainted is were Oshawott accidentally blasted her with Hydro Pump when he is aiming for Pignite, although not a battle she did get knocked out making it her only lose.

If we see every battle in the Masters 8 Tournament, and we get Iris vs Lance, we could see Red Gyarados vs Emolga, with Emolga picking up a huge win! Maybe not enough to win the match, but a great win none-the-less, deserving of praise from 1 Dragon Master to another soon-to-be Dragon Master!

Iri's Emolga is one of the few Pokemon not owned by Ash that has received such deeply character development that at that given time it felt as if Emolga would stay permanently in the anime. The team rocket episode was awesome and it is ashame it didn't betray Iris as Iris was immature back then in the series and she well deserved that. I believe we haven't seen Emolga and Excadrill battling by Iris's side when she appeared as the Unova champion because we will see them fighting against dragon master Lance in the upcoming Journeys episodes. With only one episode left for Chloe's Eevee (they both searched and saw all Eeveelutions, they will propably show the new type Eeveelution for gen9) and with no more development episodes for Yamper, propably it will evolve into a Boltund somehow sometime in the future off screen... The Alolan arc will be concluded with just three last episodes left (battle royale, wormholes, finding Lillie's dad, Moh) And with two episodes left for Project Mew (last mission and Go's initiation) the rest of the episodes will be full of pokemon battles and all about the Galar championship. Plus Rika Matsumoto is officially retiring so no more Ash for us. This is the time they need to develop and conclude all of Ash's pokemon, storylines etc like his Primeape and Pidgeot and even show where his dad is and perhaps Ash after finding Moh, Lillie's father he will set on his own journey to find his father. SO yeah I really think we will see Emolga battling against and Iris is a weak champion that has to rely on pure luck to win such as the 50% chance for attract to kick in in every battle, in the anime completely immobilizing the enemy pokemon.

I don't like "Team Rocket's Shocking Recruit" because I would liked to Ash's Snivy and Iris's Emolga finally settling their difference and end their rivalry before they departed just like Clemont's Chespin and Serena's Pancham. If I was the writer of this episode I would change slightly in the episode of after defeating Team Rocket that Iris's Emolga immediately wanted to have a battle with Ash's Snivy because she wanted revenge against Snivy for how she had treated her earlier. Then during the battle Ash's Snivy would finally evolved into Servine and defeated Emolga but still apology anyway which would be the end of their rivalry.

I definitely would've liked a more proper sendoff for their friendship. Same thign with Scraggy. I think it would have been cool if Ash gave Iris Scraggy and it returned as a Scrafty. Talk about an emotional coronoation battle :)

To me, Emolga is like the pachirichu out of all unova Pokémon that exist! Their both a like both Iris’s emolga, & dawns pachirichu have different personalities, the they both are actually quite cheeky, and liked to tease their own trainers from their beginnings! Both Pokémon are absolutely adorable even in my opinion!. 😊👍

Unpopular opinion, Emolga is the best pikaclone(behind Mimikyu if he counts) Much better then Pawmot, Minun, Plusle, Pachirisu, Dedenne, Togedamaru, and Morpeko) Mimikyu is the best, but is it really a Pikaclone, it's not an electric type, it doesn't resemble Pikachu in it's true form behind the disguise But yeah, Emolga is very cute and i like it's design And Elesa's Emolgas(or Emolga are hell) in Unova

to be honest I think haxorus is iris' best pokemon not because of it's status as her ace but also cause of it's character growth I think haxorus got way more development than leave me out of it emolga

@@ProfessorAlexSilver Same, my biggest issue with Iris during the time she was with Ash is that her Axew never got to evolve while they were together, especially since it was revealed quite early on that it dreamt of evolving into a Haxorus

Emolga is one of the few Pikaclones I like, won’t beat Plusle n Minun though since they remind me of Pichu which is my favorite Pokémon
