O, when they turn them selfs in bests they also give their souls to the crowns but some how they couldn't mentain their power because it was no one to worship them how it happen with Lamber, if the player lose all his followers and don't have at least one in two days will die, and because of that the crowns run out of power, if im right also because it wasn't any more, chaos, hunger, disease and war what represented the 4 bishops the power of each crown remaind dry and because each one of them give up their souls to their crowns now are free because it was a power to keep them in the crowns and like Narinder they has return to their weaker forms before to become bishops but they was boundery to those powers some of their aspects remaind like how Narinder live forever and can't get sick or to need to eat, if im right, but the third eye of Narinder is posible to be something from birth sence it was lost when was defeated. And thats it, all 5 bishops with Narinder included don't havet how to become gods of a specific aspect without to believe something special about them, at least if the developer want to good story. But those are just my ideas/speculations.
