Infinity War was already in production and it was the final movie worth a shit in Phase 3 because everything after was basically a Phase 4 Prologue.

Binge works in some cases it depends on genre same as weekly. Thriller, drama, anything suspenseful weekly works. But for comedy in particular weekly is terrible. Docu serries is probably best for binge. It definitely worked for Tiger king. The number of episodes in a season is also a factor. If you just drop eight episodes on binge it won't last a week. If you do 24 you get a couple weeks. When it comes down to it binge is too frequent for a good show and weekly is too long for anything mediocre or bad. Think about the drop off for Rings of Power. They lose interest between episodes. I really think two a week is optional for most shows. It keeps it in your mind you can binge a few episodes a week that way

I watched X-Men 97. It's not "bad" but it's also NOT great. A) They have Jean arguing to leave the team to raise a family; which starts the Wolvy/Scott/Jean triangle (which doesn't work because that Jean is PREGNANT = Scott already WON) They have Anne-Marie seeming to spark with Eric (literally - it's what's shown) in order to muddle the will she won't she with Gambit (when anyone that would actually sign up to watch this probably knows they're FUCKING MARRIED!!!) So it's referencing a comic that was elseworlds, that probably isn't considered canon, just to string the audience along. They completely rushed the fuck out of Cable's intro (I also don't think any scenes involving the labor really needed to be shown, but at least unlike House Of The Dragon, they didn't show the blood or a C-Section. Gah) and had NO TIME because they shoved the whole arc into one episode, to flesh out Cyclops' reasons for not wanting to be separated from HIS SON. (Which also that jean repeatedly calls him MY SON. Not our) Then she just buggers off in the end like it doesn't even matter she might actually BE the one to have legally married Scott. If they'd saved that arc for the second season, great. Go flesh it out and I might find it just as compelling as the original series... but this way; I don't think they're going to have enough content to get to Season 3 if this is the rate at which they handle classic X-Men arcs. Hell, ArchAngel got like a 2 second scene so randomly it makes me think they'll do the same thing with Days of Future Past or Age of Apocalypse. Which in the show Wolverine & The X-Men they did build up to throughout the whole second season.

I'm disappointed by the pessimism towards what I thought was a pretty good trailer for Alien Romulus. It's definitely got the right look, and despite how awful Covenant was, I'm ready to be hurt again

I think there needs to be a compromise. Gentlemen should've dropped 2 episodes per week, One Piece 2 episodes, Andor 3 episodes. Some shows are too slow paced for the weekly 1 episode model that people lose interest because not a lot happens for episodes in a row. House of the Dragon should definitely be 1 per week though to get people hyped and talking about it. These 2-3 year waits between seasons is really killing these shows though. Reacher S3 is likely dropping already at the end of this year/beginning of next and we just finished S2. They need to get back to a season per year. 3 Body Problem starts off good but ends meh... So Game of Thrones? Dan and Dave back to disappointing people again!
