Twice a day for 40 days, Goliath, the champion of the Philistines, comes out between the lines and challenges the Israelites to send out a champion of their own to decide the outcome in single combat. However, Saul and all the other Israelites are afraid of him. David is present, having brought food for his elder brothers. Told that Saul has promised to reward any man who defeats Goliath, David accepts the challenge. Saul reluctantly agrees and offers his armor, which David declines, taking only his sling and five stones chosen in a brook.

Im so touched with the freinship of jonathan to david , as a prince on that time ,pleding to his father the king not to hurt david and even risking his life to go warn david about the bad intention of his father, the scene that they part ways and we know that they wont see each other agsin coz jonathan will die in the battle makes me so emotional. An amazing story of freinship❤

David gave that giant Goliath a slitting headache, litterly. Jonathan who a prince because his dad Saul was the king. Jonathan must've knew that David was going to be the next 👑 king of Israel. There wasn't a great king like David, always repented of his wrong doings and God says that David a man after my own heart. To the Almighty blessed be his name for ever more, Amen.
