"expansion of consciousness" is what so many describe..and i can relate to this, for I too, have experienced an expansion of my consciousness, first during anaesthesia, and secondly, during my sleep state. i have seen things beyond the locality of my body, which i was able to verify, and i have met with deceased relatives, particularly my grandparents, who i have seen often in spirit form. i am now 100% certain consciousness is "non-local", and becomes part of the cosmos when we pass on.

What an extraordinary session of an NDE told with a deeply personal narrative. The critical questions were coming up right on time to let the session flow. One of the important things I have learned after watching countless nde experiences and reading of them is this: You must surrender to what IS. By surrendering, you allow the will of God to guide you. Surrender and forgiveness, especially forgiving yourself are both equally important. Very much enjoyed Ingrid's telling of her experiences. This one made me wonder about the interaction between spiritual world, and the physical world. There's an aspect that reminds me of Anita Moorjani's narrative, how one's "attitude", "purpose" (at the deepest level, soul level), can affect physicality. Of course, physical healing is not always possible. But at least, the person may still go out, in peace and light. Co-incidentally, just finished listening to a video by Michael Levin (Tufts U.) in saying it's more than molecular biology (DNA, RNA, Proteins, ...), and that other forms of "patterning", that are both physical, and "informational". There maybe a "congruency" in the orchestration of communication amongst cells, when the soul is in bliss, that contributes to physical healing. "Psychosomatic" just acknowledges the category. But doesn't begin to address the issues in detail.

I think she had an OBE (out of body experience) which is very similar to an NDE. In an OBE, the body isn't necessarily inanimate or "dead".

Also STE, but in Buddhist terms she had an enlightenment/ awakening as she could see beyond the ego identity and the illusion of the world drama playing out. The bliss / Nirvana / overpowering joy she felt for a week afterwards which made it difficult to fit in the regular world is commonly described by people with awakening experiences.

Though, cancer does not 'just happen'' because of an event in life. There are many other things, diet, pollution, blood and body type, inactivity maybe, even some say, solar cycles
