Жыл бұрынSEMA is here! Suppy, Grimm, and the rest of Team 69 finalize the last handful of details while our boy Rocky from 360wraps gets the IndyTruck looking sick with a complete graphics package. The truck then heads out to Las Vegas for its big reveal in the Pennzoil booth. Don't think that this is the last you'll see of this thing -- we've got big plans for next year. Where do YOU think we should take the IndyTruck in 2023?

It's not going to get used very much. While it's not an f1 engine, it's life is rather short too. Just the extra weight of the truck vs an indy car will put more strain on the engine and trans

@@dickfitzwelliner2807 I'm no engineer but I don't think this truck will ever put the same amount of stress on the engine/trans as running an actual race. Indy cars make 6000-7000lbs of downforce at 200mph. The average speed at this year's Indy 500 was over 174mph. The cars ran over 30 laps or 75 miles of non stop wide open throttle and decel before they took the first pit. On top of that the engineer's probably softened the tune for this build.

@c0c0asauce that's true, it would be interesting to know the expected life of an indy car engine in different rpm's with time/distance. Like does 1k less rev's double the life of it. That little clutch is going to live a miserable life

The constant leveling up of the quality and scale and scope of the projects at hoonigan is just staggering. And the fact that going from thrashing shit boxes to making things like this and the warthog and it hasn't lost even a little of the enthusiasm and the feel of guys doing what they want as opposed to them being constrained by corporate red tape and selling out, is just great. I feel that's the ultimate challenge, keeping it real, and, well, achievement unlocked. Chef's kiss! This thing is nothing short of amazing. I really hope Honda is gonna let it loose on tracks and burnyards. I think they are gonna do just that and I can't wait. Usually as cost and responsibility go up, overall enjoyment for everyone goes down. Never with hoonigan. Respect+ Skill+ Happiness+ Brains+

The most impressive thing in this video was Grimms jump to grab the block, and the instinctive shoulder support by one of the other dudes. That's like when athletes can read each other's mind, and perform magic.

Beyond the truck, beyond achieving this in house, i think the most important thing that came out of this build is the fact that the HoonTeam is up to spec. They may sh!t on each other, pull and tackle and all that, but at the end of the day, they're all really cool guys having fun around the thing that binds them together. Cars.

Love the build, not crazy on the yellow, but it's overall a unique and crazy build, especially having the race motor. I'd love to see Honda offer another race engine for next year and build the ultimate sleeper ,but modified Hoonigan style.
