Their case will be reviewed again after the 25 years is over. They can't legally be given more time but if the jury decides that they should go back into jail (which they definitely will) they'll be back in their for longer.

Bruh, if I was a convict and I caught one whiff of what they were doing to their kids, I'd be asking around for a shiv. At that point, it wouldn't be murder, it'd be justice. Trust me, those parents aren't going to survive very long in prison.

It would greatly reduce the amount of abuse and neglect that takes place in foster care if there wasn't a financial reward for fostering. Also, any social worker that fails to report or notice signs of abuse for children in foster care should be held to the highest legal consequences because far too many of them r desensitized and give benefit of the doubt to foster parents over foster children. I just think the foster system doesnt prioritize the well-being of these vulnerable children and i wonder why. Its bureaucratic and heartless. I wonder what their priorities really r and what has made the safety of children so unimportant when protection is literally the whole purpose of cps. I see government run animal shelters take better care in rehoming animals than government run agencies for fostering and adoption. I mean, to foster dogs, u often will take on a high medical and training financial burden and recieve minimal assistance, which is why u hear way less stories about ppl neglecting their foster animals because they genuinely have to do it out of the goodness of their heart. Its crazy that children dont have the same or better system set up to filter out the trash. Its clearly intentional and by design and that is the reality that disturbs me, because i cant understand y.

Rather it’s because of monitization issues or because they don’t want to voice their opinions. Most people I’ve seen who make content don’t expose and call out the abusers as much as Hunter does. I understand where you’re coming from, no one should give these monsters any leniency however I hardly see how it’s a negative thing for me to acknowledge when a content creator is doing a good job at it. there’s really no need to put down me or anyone especially who is giving props to Hunter for the blunt and no bullshit way he talks about these people. It’s fairly counter intuitive

Just want you to know you aren't alone. Going through and reading stories like yours, it sucks to know other people went through it but nice to know there's other people out there who really understand what it feels like to live with that. Its a terrible feeling, the embarrassment when you get triggered and its like your brain gets hijacked by a tornado, and you think of everything bad that happened, that is happening, all of the bad and you just melt into despair and can't focus or talk right. I don't know if its exactly like that for you, but I had a similar upbringing, and I know how it affected me and how much I wish that I at least could have ended up normal after all that, but no, we're just left feeling broken and invalid, despite knowing it's not true. You aren't alone and I understand the pain, man.

@@BrianHall210 it does feel nice in a way to know there are others going through the same struggle. Just because somebody out there understands some of the emotions and reactions. My reaction to "triggers" is anger. I fly off the handle at miniscule things. My therapist says it's a fight or flight reaction. I grew up fighting, so my brain goes straight to fight mode and I just rage. To avoid those situations, I isolate myself as much as possible. I was an alcoholic and a drug addict for many years. Numbing the mind was my way of coping. One thing that has helped was Marcus Aurelius' meditations. The book I mean. Thanks for your reply. It means a lot and I hope you find your peace.

And I just wanna say, it happened because these parents are fucking evil. You didn’t do anything wrong, nothing a kid wouldn’t have done. These “parents” took out their anger on you. It wasn’t “punishment” it was torture, straight up trying to scare you into listening to them or hurt you to get what they want. Which is fucked up, a parent should be able to talk to their kids, even dog owners can’t have a conversation with their dog but they still wouldn’t hit them to teach them something, they would take their time and train them. There’s countless studies that show that if you use punishment rather then positive reinforcement, it will take longer for kids to learn what you are trying to teach them and can cause them to rather go in fight or flight rather then listen. But if they do something right and you reward them, they are more likely to do the right thing. But if you hit or scream at your kid for compliance, that’s what they will do, is comply with you in the moment out of fear, but they won’t remember it and most likely will trauma block it. I still fell stuck remembering shitty shit from the past and trying to figure out why how it happened. What did I do to deserve it. Wasting so much time and ignoring positive people to figure out my past. I’m really trying to move past it tho because it does make me a depressed pissy little shit to anyone who interacts with me. Idk how to live without remembering what happened to me and seperate myself from who I was. I’m not a scared little girl anymore, I’m an adult and I have responsibilities I have to focus on.

I’m so sorry you had to go through that. A family member of mine with severe PTSD from warfare had success with therapist aided MDMA therapy. It helped significantly. I also have another friend who managed to work through horrible trauma after having a large dose of psilocybin with a shaman there while they had the experience.

That's real stuff too, I mean the PTSD. One person might say something a little too aggressive then boom, you're 9 all over again, crying and not making sense because your brain is being hijacked by a super intense memory.

He also has a very refreshing amount of hatred towards the abusers. So many "crime junkie" videos are nauseating in the way they ooh and ahh over the nasty details like it's something exciting, and gloss over the depravity and how horrible it is.

Same for me. That fear is almost primal. So this girl was so brave for what she did. And so noble. She knew if she caught, they could've killed her. I'm so grateful these children got out safely.

Adding another note! It took me ages and tons of work to process what I had ONLY WITNESSED. Survivors of these kinds of horrific events have to go through exponentially more therapy, counseling and overall work, I cannot possibly fathom it.

It's messed up, but there really are people out there who are so sadistic that they have kids purely so they can have unlimited access to victims. I had a family member take in foster kids for a while and the amount of kids that come from homes like this is down-right depressing.
