Fenom, if this is one of your favorite love songs (surely in the same rotation as Spandau Ballet's "True"), you would definitely like "Avalon" and "More Than This", both released by Roxy Music in 1982. Both have the same flawless production and silky smooth vocals with great melodies.

I just realized how many songs (the music) jimmy jam & Terry wrote & produced so many songs/artists that I didn't know. Now, I can definitely hear them. New Edition, Bobby Brown, Janet, Force M.D.s., etc.. I don't know how I missed this. You know when you hear them now.

This is a really good song, and I think the somber tone was because of the subject and how the song just “feels”. Sorry Ollie - love you but I think you missed the mark on this one. It would be repetitive if it were a longer song, but it was fairly short so it doesn’t seem repetitive to me. Love your reactions none the less!

I like Human League.... this is probably my fav, but I liked a lot of their songs. I think Britiain was so good on the music scene in the 80s. Jamiroquai, Sade, Culture Club, Human League, Style Council, Simply Red, Wham......

The only other Human League song I remember other than the two you have done is "Obsession". There are probably more, but I really only know them from radio. I like them fine, but I'm not a real fan who knows much about them.

Who cares about the video? I mean really, 80's videos on the whole are pretty terrible. They were just starting out with MTV after all. Olli, that wasn't meant to be rap she was talking and why do you care so much about his back?🤣 As for the song, I could take it or leave it. It isn't bad, but not one that I seek out.
