I loved the book, I loved the other four movies, the casting is spot-on, the cinematography is outstanding and the whole trailer gave me chills. The odds are definitely in this movie's favor.

I am also on part 2 in The Ballad of songbirds and snakes and I just hope that the book and the movie is somehow the same because everytime I read a book that becomes a movie then is not the same and I don’t like when they don’t follow the book as to the movies.

@@user-ik1cq5hl4n Rachel Zegler has an amazing voice. She's been on Broadway and on tour. She starred in the remake of West Side Story and is starring in Snow White. Her voice is beautiful. Pristine. You should hear her sing. Pull up some of her songs like Tonight West Side Story. They couldn't have chosen better for this role, which is vocally demanding. I promise. You won't be disappointed in her singing ability when you hear her.

This is gonna be one of those movies that makes you start to get excited for all the semi-disclosure, "Maybe people will finally see. Maybe people will understand, &wake up. I can't believe they're just putting this all out there!", but then it takes such a wild &fantastical twist, that is 1000% not believable, &everyone watching will be like, "Yep, just another good movie. Nothing to see here.", even though they're metaphorically depicting our exact current predicament...

@@Quaaludio 🖤🖤🖤 You're never too young to start thinking critically, &doing your own research. I don't care if you &I never agree on a single thing for the rest of our lives. What I do pray for, is that your generation does not allow yourselves to be spoon fed all your information. There will always be predators in our societies. Most of them hold leadership positions, &come from a long line other predators. Think about it. Why wouldn't a predator go for a leadership position, where they'd have more control &opportunity. When you really sit &think about things, &look into different times &places throughout history, into all the religions, the governments, etc., etc., basically all those in decision making positions... Unfortunately, you'll find that almost everything is by design. Every now &again, the people win, but only when we're vigilant. All too often, we fall for surface level drama, instead of looking into the true sources of issues. Never allow yourself to fall prey. As they say, "If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything." Predators will always be predators. We just have to be smart.

I am still going to give this movie a chance even if it doesn’t have everyone else from the other movie,The hunger games,The hunger game:catching fire,The hunger games:mocking jay part 1 and part 2,I understand that this movie is a prequel of when president snow became the Gamemaker and how he created The Hunger Games.

That's been speculated since the book came out. The math for both their ages adds up perfectly. I'm fully expecting a scene added to the end of the movie where she runs off with a guy named Clark Everdeen.

I won’t explain why for those who haven’t read the book, but you really shouldn’t lie about an author confirming something like that, when it’s not true.

I am the only one who wish they cut the trailer on 1:18? This trend from past years when they make extra long trailers/or extra short ones is just wrong. They always show to much of the story or too little, so most of the time I end up not caring about looking at it. This happend to me with Wednesday, I need to force myself to look at it after like 3 months sitting there and only because I was bored. It turns out like great show, but the trailers were not so alluring.

Idk, I'm very critical of new movies, especially now-a-days because I'm so over Hollywood extremely over dramatizing and lacking any original ideas to make movies different from anything else that is already out. I understand that they are going to follow the book to the best of their ability but considering how things are right now, especially in Hollywood with the "woke" culture, my expectations for this movie aren't high. I really enjoyed Katniss being such an original character and now I feel like they are gonna outshine her with somebody else and make it seem like Katniss took on the persona of this other girl from history even though in the first book Katniss said she didn't really care for the history because it was straight forward and they never talked about any other uprisings or rebellions. They had heard of them, especially with district 13 but the stories were always hushed and replaced with "capital facts". It also just seems to me like they felt the first movie lacked racial diversity so now they have to cast a very racially diverse amount of people. I mean its great, but it definitely feels forced in most of the newer movies. Maybe this one will be different though. I hope so anyways. Maybe I'm just being hypercritical but I feel the same way about all new major Hollywood movies. They're all just unoriginal and lacking true character in my opinion. The filters are also very dim lately too. It's supposed to have a dark vibe of course, but not dim.
