Dr. Gary Vena, professor emeritus of Manhattan College's English Department is the author of Eugene O'Neill's THE ICEMAN COMETH: Reconstructing the Premiere, as well as other books and articles.
He has moderated annual O'Neill roundtables and was a guest speaker at the Nobel Symposium for the O'Neill Centennial in Stockholm. He is currently on the faculty of The New School for Drama, and in 2011 he was the recipient of the New School's Distinguished University Teaching Award.
