The hunter is not the only zombie with a self defense reflex The survivor zombie, which only appears on certain maps, also runs away from the players when shot at

The Hunter from L4D remains my favorite zombie. They are the undead version of xenomorphs. Can’t see their eyes but they can sure as hell see you.

Wait until u get skeeted, u wont like hunter that much after u play versus and get skeeted, hunter is the most vunerable one in the SI(yes he is weaker than a well played boomer)

They are actually silent they are only silent though whenever they stand up however when crouching and about to pounds they do admit both growling and screeches when spotting a survivor when standing up they negate any screeches whales or even signs that they are there except when they are scratching at walls or survivors

They were supposed to be silent (hence the name Hunter). But a Special Infected named the "Screamer" never made it in the final cut but it's believed that they recycled his screams for the Hunter when he's about to pounce.

They should remaster both L4D1/2 for Xbox one with a disc and PlayStation and the remaster should be where they fix all of the bugs and hitbox detection errors and making the ai bots more smarter
