I love this one, Luke! 💞 I think it's elevated from a typical romantic comedy by how they handled the dramatic stuff. Huge kudos to writer/director Michael Showalter.

You should do the beat beneath my feet. That was Nicholas Galitzine's very first movie. He is very young too! But opposite Luke Perry he is wonderful

I enjoyed your reaction very much. I'm tickled you clocked the boy band aspect. Nicholas actually sings all the lead vocals for the songs, spent 2-3 days in Sweden with songwriter and producer Savan Kotecha to lay those tracks, and had to learn the choreography, which he insists is outside his wheelhouse (surprised to see something is). Galitzine's wheelhouse is working hard, in my opinion. Also, about the lighting in the goodbye (or see ya later) scene, those shifting colors bathing them emulate the colors from the painting Unclose Me. It's a beautiful scene and left me weeping. Cheers!

25:28 I agree with you. I fucking HATED those trousers!! They were just TOO baggy and too short for his legs. Did not look good on him. 😫🤣

I read an article about the clothing for this movie. The pants you dislike on Hayes are $975 Loewe slacks. The rest of the outfit is designer as well. Go figure….
