I almost hit a record non typical driving from Prescott WI to the Twin CIties. a half mile after crossing the bridge to MN this monster was standing in the roadway. He gave me a look then the guy coming the other way (we both had stopped) and trotted off. It looked like he had a bush stuck in his rack until I realized it was all antler. It took all of 5 seconds but it felt like an eternity.

I have always wanted to purchase 2 replica mounts from AntlersbyKlaus. The Illinois Roadkill and the Jordan. The story behind the Jordan, as well as the near perfect symmetry, make it my favorite. However, The Illinois Roadkill is much closer to my home in MO and is a true jaw dropping giant. Between the mass, symmetry, and story of the Jordan, as well as the frame and spread of the IRK, I know ill have a high bar to shoot for with my own trophies. When I finally get to build my hunting/man-cave building, I'm incorporating the extra money for those two replica mounts to adorn the wall. I'll have so much pride seeing my own trophies hang next to monarchs like these, even if they are only replicas

I’d like someone to once and for all settle the arguments about it being real.. Mitch was a very peculiar guy but he was a big buck slayer, not too hard to believe that he killed that buck for real, not to mention the property that he hunts is basically where Jesus left his shoes, NOBODY goes back there, especially then..
