I've never really paid attention to marks on Pokemon until a few months ago. It was interesting to find out that Pokemon that previously didn't have any marks were able to get one or two the more I interacted with them on my team.

I gotta say, story points and objectively terrible performance aside, the terrarium is absolutely stunning. Each zone is so pretty and has so much in it, it doesn't feel empty like Kitakami did at some points. They put so much into the zones with spawns scattered around to make even the same areas of the savannah feel varied and special. All in all 8/10 level design if nothing else, only the polar region feels a bit lacking with too much mountain imo.

1:28 This is where I start crying in your video... That sudden flashback when you talk about Gen 5. Gene 5 is my favorite generation ever, it was also my first generation too. I was overjoyed with all the Gen 5 references in Indigo Disk, and honestly playing in the Terarium genuinely feels at home, like it FEELS like you're in Unova, it's just so frustrating you can't leave the academy to go visit Castelia City or the rest of the mainland. I has my first ever starter, a Snivy (now a Serperior), transferred into SV and I'm so happy to reunite with him after 11 years (I restarted White 2 after transferring him into Y, where he stayed in Kalos for 11 years until now). You could say he's my own "Mac n Cheese" but not shiny and not a Rotom. In terms of shiny, my first random shiny was a Gen 5 mon (Sigilyph) but not in BW or BW2 (it was in XY). I did my first ever deliberate shiny hunt before 2023 ended and got a shiny Duraludon (now Archaludon who looks INSANE). Now I'm currently completing the Paldean pokédex so I can get a charm and start shiny hunting Snivy to open 2024. I'm new to this so bear with me y'all. Didn't I mention how LONG I waited for Snivy to be on Switch?

My rarest shiny is a random luvdisc I found while hunting finizen. It had a rare personality mark which is 1/2800 and this was before I had the shiny charm so it was 1/3822000 or 1 in almost 4 million
