IKEA ships everything flat pack so the backing boards all fold so that they can fit into the box with the narrow sides. Only the tops are usually in separate packaging. Nice job as usual!

What an amazing transformation. I like that not only have you given your focus piece a new life, but you were able to use wood from other furniture pieces that could possibly have been headed to a landfill. A total win-win.

I have to be honest, I was doubting I would like the end result on this one the whole way through. I thought the casters weren't necessary, the stain was far to dark, the different hardware would clash, the paint would stand out too much etc. And then.... Voila! This beautiful piece was staring back at me! I should know by now after viewing so many of your videos to trust the process! You are a creative genius! This is an eclectic piece that would sell for big $ in any fancy furniture store! Oh! And you are an organizational genius as well! Loved that screw organizer idea! I'm going to steal it!

............................................................. Not just a master, not just an artisan, but a MASTER ARTISAN. A freaking doctor/engineer of dendrology. What is the actual technical/formal title of divine woodworking? Well you have a phD in it. I've never seen such quality before. And these videos-- it really really is Oscar worthy. The talent, the creativity, and the amount of dedication to taking broken bones and transforming these pieces into something indescribably stunning. Honestly I think I'm out of words. And soooooooooo appreciate the quiet sense of humor in your vids. ..... and the model-worthy hands don't hurt. ;P It's a privilege and just a special feeling to watch your art from start to finish. ---keep on keep on, sir.

I’m not particularly fond of the industrial style, but this piece is sweet! Soooo much better this way! The pipe hardware is understated but gives just enough edge. And I really like how the top drawer is painted and has different hardware, yet still works with the color scheme. Really nice job!!

as someone who has always been obsessed with keeping various scrap paper for potential future art projects, seeing you use recycled wood instead of buying new planks every time, scratches an itch in my brain lol it's very satisfying.. this is probably stupid, but i'm glad the wood didn't just get thrown away or burned and got a chance to be useful again as a part of beautiful furniture

I agree. I watched about 1/4 of another popular restorer's videos & had to stop & come back here because of not only the better quality of the workmanship here, but the exquisite creativity, and his teaching of how to do all the little things that are required to make a good quality piece. Excellent video again!
