Oh for the removal of the edge, I thought you'd sand it whilst it was bent but something else with might have helped is a Dremel tool. They're actually really good at fine details

I have a case of “SurfPrep” envy! My wood working days are coming to an end at 73. Bad Joints! (not the wood) lol. I can’t justify the cost! Andy, I love watching you redesign wood. I love wood. This project was so well done. I look forward to some new projects soon! ❤😊
