my father, about 20 years ago, mounted this model, this same scheme, but he did not change the alternator. I saw it work with my eyes. in this case it was losing efficiency, I believe that due to the lack of efficiency modification of the alternator. I fully believe it is working. I will resume this project. congratulations!

@@romanszefler7479 There's another flaw to their story for you: In the past video they showed the frequency on their meter holding around 50 Hz. Have you ever installed a car stereo into your car and heard what people call alternator whine? The whine would sound like a high pitch whistle through the speakers ranging from 400 Hz on idle up to 3khz when you rev the engine RPM's up or 4 Khz (3000 hz - 4000 hz) OK here's my point. 400 hz is a far cry higher from 50 or 60 hz which is what your everyday house AC frequency is rated at and these high frequencies would not allow the motor to run correctly. These motors are designed to run in their sweet spot with the best efficiency based around their 50 to 60 frequency rating plus this frequency also plays into the motor's speed rating provided the correct voltage is applied to it. This alternator they have modified with magnets will be so far out of specs that even if they did get it to run it would be shoddy at it's best with very little true torque to feed back to the AC motor so yes, this is video Bull-Shyte and about the only thing that is perpetual in this video is the KZfaq monetization they receive for the views which is why they want everyone to share this video everywhere and this is also why they are releasing all of the different videos on this same build. Remember this: (1) People love shiny objects. (2) 99% of the people watching videos like this probably couldn't replace the plug end on a broken extension cord much less possess even the most basic electrical knowledge and/or skills.

As for maintenance, if you take the bearings and take the Rubber seal out of those bearings and add wheel bearing grease to them instead of just lithium grease, those bearings will last three times longer. Wheel bearing Grease Works considerably better than lithium grease for constant speed operation. The reason why Automotive companies put lithium grease in it is because they want you to have to buy parts for it. I'm guessing the wheel bearing grease may even last longer than three times but that's a good estimate a minimum extended-use.

Yet many individuals have this advantage but don't tell anyone so that they won't get shut down. You are not the first to do this. I had this much worked out in jr. high science class messing around with the electronics lab. But it was just a kit with a hand crank generator, 1.5 v motors, a bunch of gears and some small flashlight bulbs. I figured out that by using the gears and taping the motor and generator together you could crank the handle for the generator a few times to get it started and then it ran by itself lighting the light. I never scaled it up like you have though. This is a very good proof of concept video. And anyone who critisizes your honesty or doubts it will work need only try to build one themselves, even if they just use a school electronics kit like I used. Well done and good kuck to you in your future endeavors.

Hi guys, the only thing you never done is to move the engine. Your excuse was that the belt configuration will change. Then you can do it by two options - put on a moving/rolling table, or put it on a construction which is hanging (attached to stand or ceiling). Then the last doubt connected with the moving the engine will disappear! This is a major doubt as if something attached but visually hidden will be much, much harder to hide!

Suerte

If you were to use just one piece of angle iron instead of two separate pieces it would greatly improve the rigidity of the machine. I know you probably would say that you use two separate pieces for belt alignment porpoises, all you have to do is use washers to align the belt drive. As far as putting on or taking the belt off just ride it over the lead edge while you turn it.

This was dreamt up by nearly every school student 50 year ago .. Im one of them but smart enough to realise it doesnt work after trying it. An electric motor is at best 90% efficient, and a generator similar, so we have at best 90% of 90% ie 81%...now subtract the friction of belt drive 10% and were down to 71%. If you want free energy your going to need 110% which is of course impossible.

I have thought about this same plan of using a car alternator with a small motor but, did not know exactly how to invert the motor. I also know that without some kind of power to keep the motor turning that it will stop. So, was thinking that a wind turbine or even a solar powered battery would work. Btw, how much would it cost to purchase a set up that can be powered by wind? Am very interested in hearing from you. And, let me know how much power it can produce in watts, kilowatts, and amps. Thanks.

And the other downfall, the noise. However! Having power in places where there is no power, and ESPECIALLY while camping... you guys could charge whatever you want for these things. American outdoor enthusiasts have entirely too much money to burn and aren't afraid to spend it. Have you seen their campers? Ridiculous! Good luck! Make that money! $$

The power strip is not necessary. The motor casings are not necessary. Many have said there is a battery hidden in the power strip yet you cannot manage to defeat security screws? How about wireless power antenna? How about permanent magnets inside the alternator. This would run but not forever because magnetic flux is not everlasting. If this was working then our entire world would be changed forever yet I've never heard anything about this outside of KZfaq. I wish you all the best bringing this to the masses.

Thank you for your effort of proving it to the public..Preparing to build one to investigate further and will see. Nothing to loose just some spare time spare time for science. The other challenge, when you add a load, the motor rpm should slowdown, and when the it slows down so with the output power. Beacause adding load cause resistance to alternator motor, when alternator slows down, the power it deliver to the driving motor will be lessen making the driving motor loose speed. Without spèed control it will slows down to stop. Maybe some assistance power from battery maybe needed.

When starting the apparatus at 4:00 you can hear the thud of the motor turning on, just as when plugging it into the powered socket. If it's indeed a pull start this process would be more gradual. Also there is no voltage regulation and no speed governor, this cannot work. In addition, i question if the insulation of a car alternator can handle 220V between phases when it's designed for 12.
@TheSmurph78
@TheSmurph78 2 жыл бұрын
That sound was the charge from the starter capacitor discharging, if you listen to it more closely you can hear the bzzt sound just before the kick of the motor along with the snap from the discharge. As well the insulation of an alternator can take around 300ish degrees of heat, don't forget a gas engine gets really hot in the engine bay, especially during summer.
