i always thought trevor was the infinity 8 killer because of a line he says when hanging out with michael and frank where michael says "where'd you hide the bodies trevor?" and trevor says all over bang bang and there's bodies around the map and the name in the quest is just fake name and red heiring and the thing written on the wall about the infinity 8 killer is right around the corner from trevor's house

I love how Rockstar loves to put supernatural or occult and creepy stuff in their games. Especially because they usually are even more out of place than they might usually be.

fun fact, at the prison, there are screams coming from building 9A. this is supposed to have to deal with merle abrahams, but it is damn near impossible to hear, even in director mode. but somewhere you can hear them very clearly, is in the penitentiary last team standing in online. there are no cops, and so you can clearly hear the screams. also on the first version of this game, there were trash cans all over the map with “8”s on them. they were basically indestructible. iirc there were at least 16. they were removed for the next gen versions of the game-who knows why. your rdr2 videos are my favorite, so i’m glad to see some gta v videos from you as i haven’t been impressed with the existing ones. maybe one about the altruist camp? you’d have to do some obscure research... including things like collecting enough hitchhikers and talking to andy moon, a special character down by vespucci who has different dialogue depending on if you’ve met the altruists or not. he talks about them quite a bit. also their ties to the other cults in the game, epsilon, and children of the mountain, but that’s a whole other can of worms

Don’t feel bad… I’ve never finished Grand Theft Auto V or Red Dead Redemption 2. I’ve played both of them for hundreds of hours, but I find the worlds endlessly intriguing to just wander through. I want to explore every nook and cranny. I feel like I’m gonna miss some nifty piece of art if I don’t take the time to study every location from every angle. I suppose that’s why I like channels like you and Zeltik. You guys are even more thorough than me.

I know I am a month late I don't care but in Cayo Perico, when you choose to enter through the sewer,. You can see a body wrapped up, it may just be someone that El Rubio killed but it looks like the ones from Los Santos

Does Los Santos have a dormant/extinct volcano? Only where fire once spewed forth makes me think of a volcano🌋. And now I'm thinking of the body casts from Pompeii. The body's may have disappeared but the cavities left behind were incredibly detailed judging by the casts.

The case seems to be inspired by Edward Gein (who also inspired the movie character, Leatherface). Edward Gein was lonely man from Wisconsin who was serial killer that ironically mainly targeted women, but what makes him seemingly based on the infinity killer is the burned down house. In reallife, after Gein was arrested his house mysteriously burned to the ground which the police ruled as arson. He also died of natural causes in an insane asylum. It’s pretty loose detail, but interesting nonetheless.

Here's my crackpot theory: its all a developer joke. The bodies can't decay because they're literally just static objects. They'll stay there forever, hence infinite. Everything else around it makes it seem more profound than it actually is.

There was also a song added to this game a few years ago that's loosely attached to this story from what I know. 'nine is god - wavves' They made the song for the game.

I feel those are the bodies of the infinity killer and they just weren't expecting people to look too into it. This might even be just placeholder stuff that was left in due to time constraints or something. I wouldn't look too hard into them not being too decayed (this ain't RDR2 where they got the decay aspect going right)

I completed this game twice upon release (on 360 and on PS4, jeez this game has been around a while!) and never knew about this little mystery, so thanks for covering it! It seems Rockstar really has it out for jogging - Eddie Low was a random encounter serial killer in GTA 4 and if I remember rightly, he beheaded joggers in Central Park. Might be a nice jump for your next video of this type, if you ever move onto GTA 4 anyway.

my theory : for me the killer of infinity can be seen , and it can be seen in a photo , but first let 's talk about something else , it is impossible that it is Trevor as many believe , Trevor is crazy but not at these serial levels extreme and particular killer , then as one of the newspapers in Sandy Shores says , that the killer of infinity died in prison , that for me is fake news ( then I want to remind you that the killer is called Merle Abrahams ) , so it can not be Trevor , but maybe he was someone who did business with Trevor and the people around him ( probably drugs and guns ) , and at one point in the Infinity Killer mystery , there will be his house with all subliminal messages on number eight and stuff like that , but outside the house there is a writing that said like Merle Abrahams go , you are a monster and things like that , those could have been written by Trevor , because apparently this Merle Trevor has started to disgust him , also because the killer of infinity in some points it says that he only killed men, but then because the bodies are a little male and a little female, maybe he made creations with the bodies of the opposite sex and disgusting things like that, so Trevor started to hate him , we know that Trevor has enormous respect towards women and tries to be as calm as possible in the quiet moments , thats where for me you see the infinity killer , i said that the paper that said Merle was dead that it was fake news, and that instead it is wanted, here is the photo, if you enter any police station, if you go to the wanted boards, in every station there will be one and all the same, and the man shown in wanted sheets for me is the killer , let's say he looks like very muscular Nicolas Cage

I did testing with hte bodies and through class or a car window the bodies are all female (when you fine the props which are named: *Water_Corpse_1 Water_Corse_2* both are female and are marked with 8 on their stomach's however them being male and female as you said isn't true as there's only 2 props and both are female description of corpses (as seen through a car window with MENYOO spooner menu): *Shaved Heads Very pale skin 8 on stomach's all women all naked*
