Hi guys, I haven't posted videos for a while because I'm very busy with weeks of work and now I'm going into exam weeks so I quickly made this video for you, so basically I just opened the game and closed it, took a few hits and the meteor thing still happened haha, well I hope you guys like it and it was also to demonstrate how quickly Willow can kill CC, I believe it's faster than Wolfgang with Dark Sword. I'm also doing a run, but it might take a while to come out.
As it was a quick shoot with just 1 attempt, maybe it wasn't possible to get an idea of how to fight with CC, if you want me to make a better video on "no hit" to help you with how to kill CC, leave it in the comments, I already had this one thought, but unfortunately I'm short on time

Afaik you can take off speed affecting items when cc starts spinning (cc matches speed of its target) and equip them after that so you'll move faster.

Good tip, I ended up taking that hit because I was greedy and forgot that when I do that I always have a thulecite club

Cc has a minimum speed of 120% so you do need one speed boost but more after that 20% he matches.

You need to remove your speed equipment before it start it's spin attack, somehow it's speed during this attack depend on yours when he is about to start spinning. Re equip it just after it started and you'll feel the difference, you'll be faster.

yes, I forgot about that because when I do this fight I have a Thulecite bat with the magiluminescence, so the Thulecite bat compensated with extra speed

eu nunca gostei de jogar de willow desde o DS solo, mas essa skill tree dela acho q é até hj um dos melhores trabalhos com personagem q a klei já fez, comecei um mundo com ela só pra testar e MEU DEUS É SIMPLESMENTE UM DOS PERSONAGENS MAIS DIVERTIDOS DO JOGO AGORA, principalmente pra quem curte mais jogar solo. Adoro como as skill trees tem deixado os personagens mais versáteis, vc n é limitado a fazer só uma coisa bem, a do wormwook tbm é muito boa por isso, vc deixa de ser só o jardineiro da equipe e pode virar um GLADIADOR LUNAR COM UM DOS MAIORES DPS DO JOGO

Excellent work! Can I ask why did you use dreadstone here? Is it just for style or is there something that makes it better than a thulecite crown for this fight?

Both pieces grant 90 percent reduction meaning if you can finish the fight without getting hit very much you don't need to worry about bringing healing food (in theory as only a few hits from cc can put the armor into breaking territory if you want to save it)

Also when you beat a phase of cc i think you can just leave and come back to that phase (although it will heal while you are off the moon island) meaning you could have a healing food farm on the mainland and come back since food may go stale when fights go on for a long time and players can't beat bee queen (the cc flames might be the reason to do the fight so you can burn bq as well) Thank you for reading my ted talk

I prefer to do this fight with thulecite crown, but I ended up getting dreadstone first because my head just chose it at the moment lol, so there's no specific reason, it was basically getting dark swords, embers, some helmet and I started the fight

Willow doesn't have that much of an advantage fighting large hp bosses, but against dangerous but low hp bosses she's really really strong. Not having to bother with the crystal bs on the third phase of CC, or phasing through Nightmare Werepig's last phases, it's all very nice. For Toadstool though, next kill I'm gonna use Wigfrid I think, Toadstool as Willow was miserable.

Lunar for more aoe dmg, shadow for dps, full bernie for best guard :) all is fun to play

I think Shadow flames is better because of my style of play, in terms of bosses it is almost 100% superior to lunar flame, not only surpassing it in the Bq fight, crowd control has never been a problem for Willow because she always had Bernie and Now controlling crowds is even easier, both because Bernie is easier to use and tanking more, there is still combustion that controls crowds well. The high dps that shadow flames provide for Willow makes her rise to a level among characters with higher dps, I believe she surpasses Wigfrid, but I've never done a real comparison test

Yes, your limit is 40 per slot, but you can get another 40 if you have another free slot, but they can only be slots from the character's inventory and cannot be stored in backpacks

Find a bee biome, ago a bunch of killer bees and use combust, hitting them one time + fire damage is just enough to kill them, if you already have a lot you can just use combust twice

Shadow alignment gives you a damage buff against lunar aligned enemies and CC is obviously lunar aligned, you can do 74 damage against shadow aligned bosses/mobs if you choose lunar alignment instead

Yeah, I stopped using it because as I struggle moving a lot, it usually got out of Bernie's reach quickly, so even though he has all his speed skills, he ends up returning to his small form, but I like it a lot. of him in the 3rd phase, as he can take the CC out of places where he is protected by crystals or even pull Laser attacks towards him
