Yo, i noticed something pretty interesting about temmie. When you enter the shop in the temmie village, you can see that on the counter it says tem shop. The thing is the "h" is colored differently than the other letters, so if we take him out, we get *TEMS OP*. Is it a coincidence or a hint she is overpowered? You decide

My theory is that the Tems are likely powerful monsters, given how they seem to be able to stretch their limbs any way they want, and their clear "rich history". Perhaps the reason why they talk so weird is because when a Temmie is born, it just isn't that smart. Obviously a Temmie brain has the capacity to grow and develop as seen with Bob and how much more precise he is with his Grammer and wording, but I guess Tems are just powerful Monsters that are naturally born with weird working minds that can only develop under certain circumstances

Fun fact -- Tems can speak in unbroken, readable English. Its not just Bob. Refusing to sell something to the shopkeeper twice results in her saying, 'You will regret this.' There's another bit in the same part of the game where she says, 'Is this a joke? Are you having a chuckle? Haha, very funny. I'm the one with a degree. ' or something along the lines of it. The unused grandsemi files to me relate to the Tem on the dragon pictured in the village. I headcannon the picture is Grandpa Temmie who is a hero from the “deep history of Tem”. Grandpa Temmie fought the dragon and chased it away from the Village, but never returned from the battle and could be lost or even dead. The other Tems created the statue of Tem because Grandpa Temmie’s achievement was “very famous” and saved the other Tems. Tems also recognize the latent power of dog residue, which is derived from an almighty artifact that was fractured/marred - this reflects their small village of isolated yet powerful Tems, who wait for Grandpa Tem to return from his dragon battle to lead them to the surface one day.

Just felt the need to point out: For the evil/demonic pentagram, you should've flipped it upside down. The one pointing upwards is the pagan one, not the evil ritualistic demon satan thing one. Trust me. I would know. I'm in a fandom that has a lot of pentagrams. Other than that, great video.

The five points of a pentagram represent five "elements": Fire, Water, Air (I think), Earth and the Soul. The Pagan Pentagram has Soul as the top point, putting the soul above all the rest. Essentially meaning they want to take care of their soul, caring for moral duties and worship, helping others, etc. above all else. The Satanic Pentagram is the same thing, only.. In reverse. They put the soul below all else. From what I know, I think this means they don't really care all that much for usual worship or following in others, but life is the party for them. Meaning, in most cases, they'd rather do whatever they feel is best for them or what they want to... Which is opposite for most religions, where the "afterlife" is meant to be the party... If you follow a set of guidelines during life, that is. Wowie. I learned all of this from being in a fandom. As for the upside down cross thing? from what i know, that's not actually anything bad. it's just something christians made look bad, even though a christian saint is the one who sort of invented it without any bad intent. not religious or anything, just apparently learning about religious stuff through a game about demon toons.

The reason flipping it upside down is the same as the flipped crucifix. Its meant to symbolically be a perversion of the original purpose. Think of it this way, a palm raising upwards can be symbolic of uplifting. Turn it downwards and its meant to be a crushing force. Its more what the symbol usage is for instead of perspective. Perspectives can change with learning the truths behind intentions. Symbols are typically meant for a particular purpose.

I always thought of the Temmies as an extreme mutant offshoot of the Incubators. Also I see the brilliance in the whole dying on purpose to make Temmie Armor cheaper seem like a chore: a player going out of their way to kill every last monster must feel just as exhausting as trying to get killed and selling untold numbers of Dog Residue to get the armor.
