My friend, but even if devin is not replacing but assisting, isn't their main goal to automate developers? We can't support them or forgive them just because it doesnt work faster or better than software devs now. Their target is ultimately taking our jobs, and taking subscription money for each position. Basically selling our lifes to companies just so they can gather cash. That's no honorable goal, ultimately maybe yes, but we need to also provide a smooth, safe transition between the new systems. We can't just let scott wu and his "friends" to capitalise on the crisis of job automation. We need to provide everyone safety, and they try to rush for the money as quick as possible no matter how many people will suffer. In my eyes they aren't heroes they're criminals under the disguise of innovators

I hate that ai inventions still don't make our lifes better. It's all coming onto our creative hobbies/jobs, but not a single product is targeted to increase our quality of life

I’ve had the same thoughts. I can’t think of anything it’s remotely improved in anyone’s lives besides maybe some rich shareholders, and executives cutting back jobs. Making others use ai to do work of 5 others, it’s the worst thing I’ve ever seen

I've done a lot of python scripting with the assistance of Claud3 in the last few months. It definitely helps, but mainly by keeping my mind on the subject and giving me rests while I wait for it to alter one line of code in 100 that it prints out. And - often not only will it not work but it breaks other stuff. I was a QA engineer for eight years, this would not have been a help professionally in regression testing !
