The fact that he modded r/picsofdeadbabies like. I've been on the internet since before 9/11. It's hard to shock me. But the fact that those subreddits even existed blows my mind. Maybe because I spent a lot of time on 4chan as a kid, and that website has a lot of stigma but I don't remember their ever being a board called cp. Meanwhile reddit really doesn't have any stigma.

Im so heartbroken for Chad Amato. He truly loved his son. If my son took my retirement money and wasted it on some girl he didnt even know I would probably stop talking to him forever. Yet Chad let him stay AND took him on a trip to Japan FOR FREE. Then protects his son when he does it AGAIN. And his big reward is his family getting brutally murdered in their home by the very person he just basically saved. Rest in peace man. You did all you could.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Come to Jesus Christ today Jesus Christ is only way to heaven Repent and follow him today seek his heart Jesus Christ can fill the emptiness he can fill the void Heaven and hell is real cone to the loving savior today Today is the day of salvation tomorrow might be to late come to the loving savior today John 3:16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Mark 1.15 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Hebrews 11:6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Jesus

@rasmuskock8077 ikr! I'm HR for a certain home improvement retailer that was recently involved in a lawsuit because someone had to be fired for writing political stuff about Black Lives Matter all over their uniform. We have a clear SOP that I explain to all new hires that says you can put whatever you want on your apron AS LONG AS it's not political, religious, or sexual/covered in swears. And I have to explain that it's NOT that we don't believe in Black Lives Matter, if we had an official stance it would be that, but at our core values we believe in free speech. And if we believe in free speech then I also have to allow the idiot at every company to put ALL lives matter on their apron. Because free speech isn't free if it's only free for some. THEN I explain that also, we're a private company and we can make whatever rules we want for what goes on in our own company so if we want that apron to be replaced with glittery nipple pasties and a thong, then we can, and you would literally have to wear it. It makes the new hires laugh envisioning that but it puts it in perspective for them and is an easy way for them to fully understand the why behind that particular policy.

The last one with Grant is so sad, heartbreaking, and such a huge act of betrayal to his family. His father did everything he could to help his son only for him to repay his lack of severe consequences with a gun. Maybe they had a rough relationship, each family has it's own hardships, but the fact that his father didn't report him, tried to get him the help he needed, and allowed him to stay in the house well beyond what was owed to him just to be killed by the very person he was trying to help irks me so damn much. Not to mention his brother and mother being killed too. Absolutely abhorrent.

Just remember that the version of this family dynamic you are hearing is based solely in the prosecution of his trial, so a story told by someone trying to convince people he’s a bad person. I’ve met plenty of parents that have been described the way his were, they are not as altruistic as you’d assume. There’s also quite a lot that we do in life that isn’t a direct result to our upbringing, but his actions, from the entitlement to steal hundreds of thousands to attending a fake “rehab” for rich kids to escape court punishments, to having an indepth behavioral contract, those aren’t normal things that happen to people not raised by parents like his. Like this is NOT saying they deserved anything, it’s not about that, but even when being told in this hyper-favorable light they sounded like really shitty people
@HarringtonsApocy
@HarringtonsApocy Жыл бұрын
Like you said “didn’t report, got him help, allowed him to stay” i know rich people who do this, it’s not out of love, those are all forms of covering it up because either he’s implicated in financial situations that would be unearthed by an investigation or his reputation in the community would be tarnished, he doesn’t want to to get out to his golf buddies or his boss, or employees. It’s almost always some twisted selfishness behind these acts of seeming care

If someone running a site says, “there’s nothing we can do to really police it”, but then says, “but we comply with the law, of course.”, they are admitting they can police and simply choose not to. If it was impossible to police things, you couldn’t magically just police things that are illegal. I wish they’d just own it, say that they are willing and ok with platforming it, instead of pulling the, “there’s nothing we can do (unless it’s illegal, then we magically can deal with it) line”.

There really needs to be more laws to hold stalkers accountable. It's too common a story (and a number I've heard from victims themselves) of people (usually men to women) legit sending clear disturbing and unwanted communications to others. If her dad wasn't there who knows how the RuneScape starlker would have done. Even with everything he said nothing could be done until he basically was a step away from pulling it off. Honestly makes me terrified to ever have daughters and then having access to the internet.

The idea that the stalker often needs to cause some sort of physical harm or a near miss like in this situation to have the issue taken seriously is terrifying. Also I feel like restraining orders do not necessarily impede someone like this from acting out in the future. When he is released from prison, I can't see him actually leaving her alone. Especially given that he more than likely feels that he did nothing wrong and she ruined his life by getting LE involved when he showed up.

Problem is that for every genuine cause for concern there’s 20 over zealous if not out right delusional women who could be outright destroythe social life and ability to travel freely of innocent men . We want to be able to protect and prevent these kind of incidents as a society, but the implications of allowing a full on order without due process restraining the rights of a citizen granted by the constitution solely based on the claims of a sole individual is the exact kind of overreaching law we have always made an attempt to steer clear from . Now matter how well intended it’s justification is. A citizen who remains aligned with the sentiments expressed by our countries founders make it clear freedom will take precedent over security forever in the American heart , the day this is no longer the case is a good time to recognize USA has lost its way. Factoring in the amount of legal processes started as a means of settling a vendetta by women , who are weaponizing the legal system,purposefully with the full Intent of having their male victim taken into custody and charged in within the legal system for serious crimes l, there you have yourself quite a recipe for disaster on your hands and many men guilty of nothing but crossing the wrong women behind bars increasing the population in our over saturated prison system.

Even after kicking him out he was able to stay with another family member because they wanted him to have a nice place to stay. They gave him *so much* grace for fucking them over so hard. Getting him into rehab, giving him so many chances. He could have just gotten a job. He could have tried in therapy.
