i STRONGLY agree to Varun's theatre and Samosa thing. Samosa during movies is compulsory, warna kyahi movie dekhi.. Also, 5 AM pataka gang PS: i think *i AM* Varun himself.

I feel like with lockdown and all, liquor has become a thing with films. Theatres should really consider selling. It'll be overpriced, but we might need it with the next somber drama that drops (after Covid settles, of course, which it really hasn't).

5AM pataka family, and “meri tikli tere se pehle phati” represent! This will be my 2nd Diwali away from family (COVID chya aai-chi g**d). And I’ve been missing home all day today. This episode and all the stories made my day a bit better. Thank you boys, for making our lives a bit better, a bit happier and a bit more bearable. Keep doing what you do, a lot of us derive so much happiness from just watching you guys talk. P.S. Please get Aadar back, feels like a family member has gone missing. Aadar, if you’re reading this, we miss you! ❤️

Hey Varun, Kautuk Aadar, Neville and the entire TISS family, This Diwali will mark my 5th away from home and family, and Thursday would have been 664 days since I last went home. Over these 18 months, you guys have been part of the few things that make me feel extremely close to home. Har Diwali Cadbury kehta hai ki khushiyan baaton, but you guys have been spreading joy, love and laughter every week. If I was not able to binge-watch TISS episodes whenever I felt down, I do not know how I would have made it so far. So I would just like to thank you guys for all that you have done unknowingly for the very many people who can't be close to their loved ones. Happy Diwali, and loads of love

My dad takes us only for the morning shows in theatres for movies because “kam paishe” and also makes us eat heavy breakfast at home so that we don’t ask for anything to eat there, so yes varun I would love to eat samosa someday while watching the movie in theatre but I’ll also be happy if he ever buys small popcorn ka tub :))

Diwali happens to be my favourite festival too! Just as Navratri starts, I usually feel Diwali in the air. I love everything during this time of the year. The weather is amazing, the festivities bring communities together and it reminds me of the whole essence of unity that our country actually stands for! ❤️

I love that Varun addresses the fact that going out getting the fabric and getting your clothes stitched is the best! I do it all the time, a its way cheaper, b it gives you exactly the clothes you want, c you're never size conscious, coz they tell you your exact measurements so you'll never feel boxed in a category, you will only be aware of the exact fitness/ form you're in atm, and d it helps the local businesses to grow, which is so so so important in this capitalist society.

Just wanted to let you guys know that it's been months now when I sleep with one of your podcasts playing in the background. I can't sleep otherwise. I pick one episode at random and I had been sceptical to play this since I hate Diwali. It's depressing for me for some reason. And ever since I lost my dad, I hate it even more. Just 20 minutes into the podcast and I couldn't relate to Neville more. The guy is at a loss of words trying to find people to spend Diwali with and mask his sadness. So, maybe the right choice to finally play it.
