Hey guys! Recently got done with my CA exams, and y'all are the ones who kept me sane throughout! Used to watch one episode every single day. Even the 10-12 hour study sessions were tolerable, because I knew I had an episode of TISS waiting for me at the end of it! Got my results yesterday, and I cleared. Will be eternally grateful to you guys :)

The only thing that came to my mind after seeing the title was- the image of varun acting like a t rex playing Mozart as seen by the aliens in the episode with biswa (Wow a sentence you never thought you'd hear) So I have high hopes for this one

Fun fact: Dinosaurs closest relatives genetically are birds, not lizards. another fun fact, there isn't an apusaurus but there is a mapusaurus. Another fun fact: the t rex horizontal posture doesn't mean in was completely on the ground with is hands touching down. It's tail and head were simply in the same level and aligned, it actually doesn't look that different from the vertical position.

Varun - "Prakash gir giya" Can't get over a dino called Prakash 🤣 And also "Argentinosaurus, sir aap ride se badey hai" 🤣🤣 Bawa's quizzical expressions on the plots of the two Jurassic World movies were hilarious. Btw, the part about stones being swallowed to aid digestion is true and is present in birds today in the form of an organ called the gizzard where the small stones are stored and they are used to grind down the food which was been swallowed whole because they don't have teeth to break into smaller pieces. Please tell Bawa one pun - a smart Parsi dino would be a Dailo-saurus

Forget about paleontology, I did my master's in Geology, and every time I have to explain the difference between Geology and Zoology to my relatives just because they sound the same. Also, I wish this podcast would have been live, superchat main jo facts and info diya rehta na maine ;)

@9:30 As a geologist(who has also studied a bit of paleontology and dinosaurs) there is a standard followed for nomenclature of fossils so it is either based on the place they were found or the discoverer's name + "saurus" as suffix

Guys I'm from Gujarat and I kid you not, when I visited the site where the fossils of "Rajasaurus" were unearthed (and I was in class 6 at that time!), me and my friends cracked up, just like you all did, on the sheer absurdity of the name- Rajasaurus!!! We still have it running as an inside joke in our circuit for something stupendously absurd!
