I lost my momma in 2013. We were living in the projects in poverty. My mom did laundry work almost all her life and she barely made enough money to keep us from going hungry. She died in her sleep peacefully. She was a born again believer. Sooner or later I will see her again. Thank you Jesus.

My Mother just celebrated her 93rd birthday and I cry sometimes when I'm alone with the thought that one day she won't be there to answer my call ....ENJOY THE MOMENTS WHILE YOU CAN!!!!

This song is so emotive and extremely poignant for me right now. My darling, dear, sweet Mum, Audrey Beresford, left us for the stars on 2nd January 2023. Mum wasn't ill, it was just her time, she was 91 and left on the eve of her sister Edna's birthday; it would have been hers yesterday on 3rd January 2023. I know Mum will be with her & their brother Roy too now. My Dad, Doug and family and friends would have been expecting Mum and they'll all be rejoicing in their reunion out there somewhere. I used to sing this song to my mother every year on Mother's Day. But this Mother's Day that passed in 2022. How I wish I had sing this song to her, grabbing her cheeks and arms gently while she keep pushing me away telling me she gonna knock me out as she just be laughing away, My mom needing to really hear me sing this song to her because July 4, 2022 I lost my mom, not only my mom but my best friend. At the end my mom got real sick in and out of hospitals and rehabs. At first I thought in my heart, mind , and soul, mom wanted attention. My mom did not have a will to live and I was so upset with her. I was like mom please help yourself, I prayed for my mom, cried for my mom but, her will to live was gone. I was like mom push yourself to live. I knew mom was going to die soon. But in a way was in denial cause no one want their mom , parents, or love ones, to die. She died of a heart attack in the hospital. But what I do not understand, how did mom died so so soon when she was on heart meds. How we all miss our mother. We will always love our mama, cause she's our baby girl. You only have one❤️
