▶ About Javed Ahmed Ghamidi:
Javed Ahmed Ghamidi is a Pakistani Muslim theologian, a Quran scholar, and an educationist. Mr. Ghamidi is a student of Maulana Amin Ahsan Islahi and Maulana Abul A’la Maududi. Mr. Ghamidi has authored several books, including the bestseller ‘Meezan’, in which he presents a comprehensive treatise on the entire content of Islam. Mr. Ghamidi is a researcher and a critical thinker who has challenged many aspects of the traditional Muslim schools of thought on the basis of evidence from Quran and sunnah.

Marxism was a critique of Capitalism. Capitalism was a new Western phenomenon after Protestantism and the Industrial Revolution. There was little experience of Capitalism in Muslim societies. Before Muslims became fully aware of capitalism, Marx had already written his devastating critique. So Muslims became aware of both at the same time. Capitalism was like a new weapon and Socialism provided a mechanism to defend against this new aggressive weapon. For serious scholars it was merely a defensive argument in the tradition of Western thought. Just as you speak of democracy today in defense against monarchy or tyranny. In addition, your thought aligns itself with secularism, which is also the result of Western historical experience on account of the tension between kings and Catholic church. Secularism is an imposition on Muslim societies by Western powers exercised through various techniques of coercive persuasion. Social ‘sciences’ are disciplines but not science. Ijmaa is the basis of peer review in publication of scientific papers. It is a fundamental principle in science.

vah sirf sufism upar discussion kar rahe hain, vah ismein Nahin mante aur Allah ki marifat To hamen Kuran bhi karata hai, Allah ki marfat ka matlab hai Allah Ko Jan na ham kuchh chijen jante Hain, to ek taraf se yah bhi marifat hoti hai

سر ھسٹریکلی تو ٹھیک ھے مگر کیا یہ سب درست ھے کیا ایک مسلمان کو یقین کےلیے انسبکی ضرورت ھے اگر نہیں تو عام آدمی کو یقین کیسے آٸۓ ۔۔۔اسکےلیےایک کلیو ملتا ھے کوشش یہ کیا ھے کیا یہ وھی ھے جیسے صوفیا کرتے ھیں کیا یہ کم ھے ھم قرآن کھولیں غور سے پڑھیں اور رھنماٸ حاصل کرنے کی کوشش کریں مجھے ایک مشہور مولانا کا قول یاد آرھا ھے کہا قرآن کو ھرکوٸ نہیں سمجھ سکتا یہ بھی بڑی عجیب بات ھے یہاں سے ھم جناب نبی مکرم کی حدیثوں کی طرف جاتے ھیں تو وھاں ھمیں لوگوں کی پیداکردہ تاویلیوں کے ڈھیر ملتے ھیں

غامدی صاحب بھی بس فلسفہ ہی پیش فرماتے رہتے ہیں۔۔ کچھ علماء ہی اسے سمجھ سکتے ہیں۔۔ قرآن و حدیث میں دین اتنا پیچیدہ اور فلسفیانہ بنا کر پیش نہیں کیا گیا۔۔ اتنا پیچیدہ دین چند فلسفی اور اصولی و کلامی بحثوں کے رسیا لوگ ہی قبول کر سکتے ہیں۔۔ غامدی صاحب! ذرا آسانی پیدا کریں۔۔ عام بندے کو اس طرح کی گفتگو کی نہ کوئی طلب ہے نہ اس کی ضرورت۔
