Just a small bit of trivia from looking at the date, 12/21/47, Just 4 days later NYC and the North east would get absolutely walloped with 25 inches of snow in a monster blizzard that tied up the entire area for days upon days and created a christmas to truly remember:)

As always, Mel Blanc steals the show!😂

Was that Mel Blanc talking to Dennis Day?

I think so but that doesn’t sound like Sheldon Leonard as the race track guy in this one.

Hard to pick up Mel talking in his natural voice! I also think it was him.😄❤

It isn't Sheldon. They used some other actor in this episode.

a jewish guy shopping for christmas presents....hmmmm

7-10-18Emily, we used to buy Christmas presents -- e.g., for friends, teachers, neighbors, even relatives (the gentile ones through intermarriages). It was all in fun. My sister married a gentile, ditto for my brother. For our immediate family we bought basically Chanukah presents. And I'm sure Jack had the same heart of gold basically. And moreover, like Uncle Miltie, he never did "Jewish" humor at all. Didn't call attention to himself or to his real-life religion ... there was no need to. Take good care, - Paul Miller in West Los Angeles..... forlino -- a t ---- c a --- d o t --- r r --- d o t --- c o m
