Quiet as kept, honestly, I personally think, that all of The Jackson albums are slept on. I love the instruments, arrangements, horns, string instruments, percussion, etc. Especially, on the ballads. They almost sound like orchestrated hypnosis.

The world in 1976-1984 did not pay enough attention to the masterful songs of these Jacksons. Would have thought Michael’s breakout would have reopened their catalog to the masses. Songs like these should have been at lease Top 40. At least it’s for us die hard to enjoy.

The Jacksons were truly one of the most fabulous groups of all times!! We will always love them!! & We will remain forever great fans of theirs!! Michael Jackson's brothers also had such great hearts to have in some of their songs allowed MJ to sing all alone!! That is truly wonderful & truly supportive brothers!! Kindness like that proves what a great family they really were!! The Jackson brothers deserve a lot of credit for that!! Michael Jackson was always such an incredibly wonderful person, a great humanitarian, & he was so magnificently talented!! Michael Jackson had the greatest dance moves ever & the most incredible singing voice ever!! & Michael Jackson was extremely handsome!! MJ always gave us total ultimacy in everything!! It's no wonder that MJ always was & will always remain our & only true King of Pop!! MJ remains incomparable forever!! Everything that MJ did inspired us, made us completely happy, & gave us so much about him to cherish forever!! That was such a sad verse in that song, "You push me away.". & That is such a sad thought of any girl ever having pushed MJ away. At least any girl in her right mind never would have pushed MJ away!! But, it is such an incredibly beautiful song sung so dreamily by our forever sweet, beloved MJ!! Thanks to the true beauty of this song, it is forever so wonderfully memorable & a true success!! I love it so much!! We are forever extremely blessed to have had MJ in our world!! & We are forever extremely blessed to have experienced MJ & The Jacksons!! They are the best of the best!! Been listening to the Michael Jackson channel ..on for a limited time on XM radio in honor of the 40th anniversary of the greatest selling album ever “Thriller” and this is one of the songs that has come on that touches my soul.. and I needed to hear it again. Easter 1979...I was 11. slow dancing with a 12-year-old girl name Angie to this. me, and Angie became boyfriend and girlfriend for a very short time afterwards. until I wrote her a love letter and spelled Baby/B-A-B-B-Y/LOL LOL it was all over after that. my then 13-year-old cousin name Michael, told me that's how you spell Baby/LOL God, the good old days, and memories.

yes Tim, it was released as a single. this is a great song. it should have been a bigger hit. there is old footage/video, of Michael doing this song on American Bandstand and Soul Train in early 1979.
