Showed this song to my daughter reminiscing about how my mom used to do this workout, and it wasn’t until she said “hold on- this slaps!!!” That I realized how good it is.

I sit here listening to this recalling watching my mom work out on the living room floor and listening to this very song as a boy in the 80s and wonder: “is this where my love of House and Chillhouse was born????”

I’m looking for a way to upload this. I have music only tracks of both the beginners and advanced (same music, I know, but some may like the longer advanced rip, too). I’ve gotten flagged before for uploading Jane Fonda videos on another account because Lightyear called copyright (was not trying to monetize), and they were specifically ones they hadn’t released with one exception. There’s an edit of the original Workout released by Karl Lorimar in late 1985 among the last batch of tapes printed before it was discontinued following the release of the New Workout. The version had cut out a number of exercises and had a lot more over voicing from Jane. I also have the music only track from the Workout Challenge and the Prime Time Workout.

Thank you so much for sharing this. It's very sad that the music from Jane Fonda's workout was never released separately on CD. What's even more mysterious is... whatever happened to Joe Chemay and John Hobbs?

It's funny the stuff you don't carry in your brain every day except in deep storage, until you hear it again. Ask me to hum this on any given day, maybe I can remember, maybe not (more likely not). And then you hear it again and, "OH YEAH!" I'd still love to hear more of this soundtrack.

When Jane Fonda release her workout in DVD, the audio are in stereo with : • left channel - dialogue with music • right channel - music only So i extracted the right channel ;)
