Very informative. I have recently retired and living in the Panhandle of Texas. Watching your videos has me thinking about Hydroponics in a small greenhouse. You are quite the motivator. Keep up the good work.

Hello. Thanks for sharing. Have you tried seeding larger seeds like peas, beans, or corn with the Jang?

Supposedly this will not work for larger seeds, and I have not tried it. I sometimes use the earthway seeder for the larger seeds, it does ok.

I’ve never tried it but I bet you could sew 1/2 acre plus. Additionally they sell an attachment for a 3 point hitch that can hold multiple push sewers.

No, but I have good news, the Earthway Seeder can sew corn; and is alot cheaper!

I bought mine from paper pot transplanter company, but you can also buy them from Johnnys selected seeds.

Why is it easier to do odd number of rows?

Good question, I should’ve explained in the video, but I never have a script. So you do 2 rows on the outside, then you do 1 in the center of those, then you do 1 in between the center row and outer row, and you keep splitting them until you get how ever many rows you need for the crop. I’ll do a video to help, thanks for the question!

Thanks! This planter costs about $650. Tomatoes can be grown in open ground but it’s best to cover the ground with plastic mulch, wood mulch, or compost.
