I noticed that Max was referring to Netherrealm as the developers of this game, but Netherrealm Studios were in fact NOT the ones who made MK vs DC! It was Midway Games, the same devs behind most of the og MK games up to MK vs DC which was their LAST before the studio shut down, Netherrealms first Mortal Kombat game was actually 9.

I remember experiencing the same thing that you did with some of his kombo challenges. For some reason you can complete them in stages without having to do it from start to finish. Watching someone with your skill get so worked up over these challenges makes me feel a great swell of pride for platinuming this game!

The ambiguity of how to do combo challenges were always tye hardest thing for me. Thats why i love when game show you a demo before asking you to do combos.

Back when this game came out we had a tournament at our highschool for it and someone found a combo similar to this(can't remember which character though) so there was a rule placed that you could only use a special move successfully 3 times in a combo so for this combo for example after the third gas cloud the person would have to continue the combo without it or end the combo.

I remember trying to do the combo challenge and I swear there is a glitch for a certain character that where even if you did their combo correctly it wouldn't give it to you, you had to do it until it did and it was a hard one, I think it was one of liu kangs
