The Jeffersons is an American sitcom television series. The show focuses on George and Louise Jefferson, a prosperous black couple who have been able to move from Queens to Manhattan owing to the success of George's dry-cleaning chain, Jefferson Cleaners. The Jeffersons is one of the longest-running sitcoms in history, the second-longest-running series with a primarily African American cast by episode count behind Tyler Perry's House of Payne and the first to prominently feature a married interracial couple.

It's amazing how time passes...here one day; gone the next (happy/sad memories). RIP to this wonderful cast of amazing actors. The show still brings laughter to me and my family. So many amazing and talented actors and writers. Well Done!

Marla Gibbs aka Florence Johnston is still hanging in there after all this time. It was was good to see her finally get her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2021; she definitely deserved it.
