The white jersey with the blue band besides being used in 44-47 and 2008-09 for the 100th anniversary celebration was also their 3rd/alternate jersey in 2006-07. I would like Montreal to either use that one and/or their Retro Reverse as alternate jerseys.

Love the Patrick Roy one and got one from fullmoon as well. Thanks for the heads-up. One small detail though: the patch should be in French as it was on the 93 red home jersey ;)

Actually, I was wrong. The red jersey was the away one in 93. So the English Patch is bang on.

Wow nice tip concerning the LNH (Ligue Nationale de Hockey) on the home jersey, since the 101 law in Québec strongly encourage the usage of written french on pretty much everything inside the Province.

It's always bothered me as a Montreal fan that everyone seems to think that the NHL's history started in 1917. The NHA and the NHL were the same league, they just changed the name in 1917 to make it easier to re-write their constitution. This makes a big difference for this particular video since the Canadians jersey changed a LOT between 1909 and 1917, only settling on the CH in 1917 since they had the CA for four years before that.

The NHL and NHA were not the same league. The NHL was created because the NHA teams couldn't stand Toronto's owner, so they made a new league to kick him out. The league was originally going to be 3 teams, with the Montreal Canadiens, Montreal Wanderers, and Ottawa Senators, but then they decided that Toronto should get a team so the Arenas were created.

I have the 2017 centennial Jersey with Shea Weber on it. I've also got a rebok Price Jersey and a blank one from the late 80s that was my dads when he was in his teen's.

No question one of the most iconic logos in ALL of sports...I love all their jerseys...the classic red jersey I like better with the white sweater collar and white ties...the classic white jersey is impeccable...also love the winter classic and the white centennial...

I love the 93' jerseys especially the white home one. I wish Montreal would go back to the blue numbers they used on those home whites. Now they have a little white line between the blue number and red outline.

Anyone remember a time when the CH was slightly off-center on some of their red jerseys back in 1978? There are pictures available but I couldn't paste into the comments. My opinion, someone had too much Laurentide and misplaced the CH on the top white stripe on several, but not all the jerseys

that white throwback jersey also doesn't have the shoulder patches that they currently have. they haven't changed much but in the 90's they did change the numbers. On the red jerseys the number became fatter, and on the white jerseys they changed the red border around the numbers. The numbers on that Patrick Roy jersey are not the same as what he actually wore. When Roy played for the Habs the numbers were real skinny

I once talked to the canadiens's customer services about a new jeersey that they should make, it would be decent to create a new design just for the sake of fun and such. because its always the same design. i own the 2016 winter classic version and i really like it . at least they made that one

I’m a massive Habs fan and won’t buy the home until they change the neck. I hoped Habs copied hawks last off-season with the neck change. The away neck doesn’t bug me too much

Not Shannon’s fault (he tried to warn us) but man their jerseys are boring. It’s just the same thing over and over. Detroit doesn’t really change but at least they have other designs. Montreal just does the exact same thing every time...

Hate to say it but the jersey is very bland and boring. The stripe in the middle is pretty ugly. People like ugly jerseys because of nostalgia I am convinced.
