The best part of this video is the cooperation between everyone fishing that part of the jetties. Everyone was helping each other to ensure everybody had a good time. A true show of brotherhood.

@@GGAnglers I'm happy to hear young generations actually picking good fishing gear I'm in my late 50s & still have my Penns & rods combo gear from early 70s lol I used to work on offshore crew boats & offshore tugs I've been in the just about every port in Texas my best place is port Aransas cool place there nice size specks as well I've missed it lol. I'm from dauphin Island Alabama. Fish on brother

Hey guys, I'm just visiting Texas. I brought my "medium size" spinning rod along. I want to try some pier fishing. Where would you recommend I start off? How many test line do I need? Should I have some wire leader as well? What spinner should I use? Do I need live bait?

Galveston Seawall. The 61st and 91st are both great piers. 20-30lb braid with a heavy mono leader. You can use live bait but I suggest you use crab. There is alot of big fish eating crab right now

I'm starting to get a reel and so in,which reel would you recommend,Daiwa bg 6500 33lbs dragor Penn battle 8000 30lbs drag,around same price,don't think I'll ever fish for anything over 200lbs,but do plan on taking it to Mexico to fish

Both of those should be good, ive seen people catch big fish on them. I prefer size 6000/6500 instead of 8000. It’s lighter and can still pull big fish💪💪

Not really good to eat they are very bloody. They make excellent shark bait which is why everyone keeps them. Also cris cool should be out in the next episode later this week stay tuned!🙌🎣

Hi! Thank you for the compliment and glad you enjoy it! This are is definitely very nice. This particular Jetty is the Surfside Jetty in Freeport, TX. We also fish alot in the Galveston area! We live in Houston, TX. All spots are about 45-60minutes apart

They can be anywhere at the jetty but most of the time towards the end is where you will have the best luck🎣

It can definitely be done but some species are out there more in certain times of the year. Speckled Trout (april-june) Sheeps (January-March) Redfish (September-November)

Big cut bait, croaker, whiting, pin fish, piggy perch, crab. Size 6-13/0 circle hooks. Fish deep water, channels, jettys.
